I jogged hard for 30 minutes and then did the last 25 minutes in intervals. I would go at a medium pace for 3/4 of a lap and then push hard for the last 1/4 of the lap every time I went around. I was SO WORN OUT by the time I got done. It just felt completely different than it usually does. I still averaged 3.5 mph overall and went 3.27 miles today. This is my fastest time this week. When I first started my workout the back of my thighs were really sore, but by the end of my warmup lap I was able to up my speed and didn't notice anymore leg pain. Yay! I enjoyed my workout. It was definitely easier today than yesterday. Then I went to our church and weeded the front walk around about five rose bushes (ouch) and it took a little over an hour! It was 100 degrees today so boy was it HOT out there. My eating could have been better today, but I'm still breastfeeding my little one full-time so I think I will still be okay. I did a short warm-up and cool down and only went a little over a mile, but it felt so good to jog. I used to jog 3 miles six days a week in 52 minutes, but that was a LONG time ago. I would love to work back up to it though. I love to think about things when I jog. It really clears my head and helps me feel good about myself.
