Thu, 1 Mar 2012 15:29:53 EST Rocky rest in peace, we will miss you! My beautiful puppy past away early Thanksgiving morning. It was a sad sad day at the Jones house. We had 3 beautiful dogs and late Wednesday night Pepper was barking like crazy. Jim ran out to see what was wrong. Rocky was having seizures and when he did walk he was losing his balance, running in circles and fell in the pool. Jim was able to get he out quickly. We didn't know what was wrong. I found the number to an Animal emergency center and we put Rocky in the van and raced there. ... Sun, 28 Nov 2010 11:13:39 EST Which number is right??? So I been using a pedometer for about a year now. I keep it in my pocket and track my steps, miles walked, and calories. I try to hit 7500 steps a day. Weekends I hit 12,000 to 13,000 due to the fact I don't ever stop moving on the week end. Between workout class at the gym and keeping up a 3 acre yard and just working around the house. <BR> I recently bought at heart rate monitor watch that tracks heart rate , calories burned and so on. Wed, 18 Feb 2009 13:52:04 EST Met my Goal!! I set out April this year to run/walk the Peachtree Road Race! July 4th I completed the 10K race in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Not bad considering that was my first race ever. It was so encouraging to see all the different types of people in this race. Big, small, younger, old, tall, short, skinny and obese. They gave their all and completed the race. I was very proud to be one of those 50,000 people. So now I'm getting serious and I am continuing to train and do a 5K in August.
