I now weigh five lbs. more than I did with my old scale. Actually it has helped me to get back on track and start eating right and EXERCISING again. Hopefully, I will keep motivated for more than a few days. Tue, 1 Oct 2013 23:07:48 EST sad weekend lost a good friend/neighbor last Fri. afternoon. reverted back to stress eating pattern, but hopefully am getting back on track today. death reminds us that we are so not in control and it can be scary. thankfully i am a Christian and have confidence in my Savior to see me through all of this. looking forward to better days and better health. <BR> <em>39</em> Tue, 9 Jul 2013 13:38:21 EST another day in the journey had a bad night last night, but got back on track today. had to make myself exercise, but got it done and feel better for it. i am learning to take it one day at a time. hard for me to do, but will continue to work on it each day. <BR> <em>58</em> Wed, 3 Jul 2013 20:39:26 EST minor victory although i was stressed out some from hubby's dr. visit. i did manage to stay within my calorie limit and didn't eat to overcome the stress. had read a couple of Spark articles dealing with stress and they truly did help me to "stay in the moment" now to build on that victory each day. <BR> <em>334</em> Tue, 2 Jul 2013 19:20:05 EST stresses stress level up today. husband had visit to cardiologists and report was both good and bad. he is in good shape, but he has some plaque build up in his left carotid artery. it sometimes seems like a losing battle. i blame myself because i am the one who does the cooking. i have been trying to keep fat content down in our diets and also sugar and processed foods. i know it is not entirely my fault, but it does get me down sometimes. <em>39</em> Mon, 1 Jul 2013 15:32:54 EST at the starting line first day of learning to eat right and to get off my duff and exercise! the exercise will start tomorrow but new eating lifestyle started today. have to say that i had to add some food to snack # 2 in order to get all the protein, cals, and fat I needed. still fell a little short (4 grams) on the carbs. ate well and do not feel deprived at all. <em>30</em> Sun, 30 Jun 2013 22:05:58 EST
