Well I have been away for a couple of months almost.....of course it wasn't because I was doing so well.....just fell away. I have been retired for 9 yrs already......but still working of course as one can't live on 1/2 of what you already couldn't live on:) Not complaining though to be sure! Had a great weekend with friends going to a college football game won on the last play with a Hail Mary, and going to watch some friends perform live music! And of course totally blow my calories for the day by about 2500....but it was worth it,no regrets! I did some shopping for clothes and put a few dressing room pics in the video. I did some craZZy exercise, a 5K Jog/walk. And cooked up some food. All in all a pretty great day. Woo Woo. Then the day took a decidedly adventurous turn when I was rear-ended while at a stop light on the way to work. Every body is pretty much ok, my back is having some issues but the cat scan didn't indicate any breaks or such. So it's going to be a sore few days ahead and we shall see. The other driver's car looked pretty much totaled, and my truck will need some bumper work. So we shall see. But tonight I am taking it easy..... With hitting it so hard the past few days my body said take a break, so I did. Not a complete breakdown by any means. I did manage to get in 9000 steps and that took some time and effort. Staying on plan with intake was accomplished as well, even if I had a wee bit more salt than I otherwise would have. But changes have to be made to fit in what I need and keep it at ~1500 cal/day. To this end there will be a bit of experimentation and I will do my best to chronicle my efforts here. <BR> <BR> 10/6/13- just made, and consumed, a shrimp and smoked provolone burger topped with a spicy mustard I whipped up with jalapeño & habanero peppers. The Drive Through 275 depends on making and meeting some mini-goals along the way. To get where I want to be I need to blow through 280, pretty simple eh? To accomplish this goal I am incorporating a LOT more time and effort into the exercise portion of the weight loss equation. This video captures all this and more.
