Tue, 16 Dec 2014 14:38:53 EST WORK doesn't always count as "exercise" Tonight I pulled off my shorts to put on my jeans before going for a walk. Even though I'm here in the Phoenix area, once the sun goes down it cools off. And I was shocked to notice my jeans felt a little "tight." As I had been losing weight slowly, but surely, I was used to the feeling of my clothing getting looser and looser. But suddenly I see this trend going the other way! Not a good feeling at all.

I stopped and thought about it and realized that I had not been getting as mu... Many of us have been members of SparkPeople for years. I happen to be one of them. My experience has been slow and steady, not a fantastic story that will hit the front page of a Health magazine, but satisfying to me. The good thing about losing your weight slowly is that you aren't as likely to be troubled with sagging skin. Although I will adjust that thought somewhat to add that aging will have a certain amount of sagging eventually, even when you are healthy and fit, it's just slower in s... As you know, at least those who followed the progress to the burned down home getting rebuilt, when it was all said and done we were not happy with the little fiberglass shower that was in the bathroom DH is going to use. Besides that, after being in the home for two months, they STILL had not installed the shower door -- thus making it impossible to use.

As time went by we decided if this was going to be the... Mon, 22 Sep 2014 12:25:34 EST If you can't do your usual, try something different 527 I wasn't exactly SICK yesterday, but my upper lip and right jaw was swollen. This past week I was pretty upset by the fluctuations I was seeing in my weight. So happy kitties!

MONDAY my DH had a doctor appointment and I tried to go through the house making the decision as to what we should take back up with us. Tue, 5 Aug 2014 23:07:13 EST Last Week and What I Did Here is my Sunday thru Saturday for last week, still busy, but not so stressful:

Sunday we got up early and drove to the mountain home as all my new furniture was due to be delivered by around noon. Got there right on time and not a scratch on any thing -- so good job! I talked the moving men into moving the two heavy desks we had up there already, into the office area. Or as many as impossible, or at least that's the way it seems at times.

We all know how easy the calorie in part is. Sun, 1 Jun 2014 13:18:32 EST My new quilt -- and other photo's As I have mentioned before, there are two Quilting Groups in Prescott (AZ) and after the Yarnell Hill Fire that destroyed 121 homes, they wondered what they might do to help the people who were rebuilding. They came up with the idea of donating some of the quilts they had been working on. I don't know how many ladies there are in each group, but I do know they donated 25 handmade quilts.
