The new addition made to the d'oh list is picking up something wrong. I tweaked a muscle in my low back --- practically my butt. It's definitely improved over the last few days, though I'm feeling a bit down because it hurts to stand, sit, lay down, walk, squat, and bend over. Lunges, however, don't hurt. I hate lunges... I lost almost 3 pounds since I started changing my ways. It was done using measuring cups and magic portion plates. I did not calorie count. I think where I failed in all my attempts previously was my lack of motivation to take advantage of the free things I can do to exercise --- the free gym at the apartment, the free gym at the hotel, the free park down the street, the free 150 mile bike path next to my home.
