I am really excited about going back to work. Plus, they gave me 4 weeks of paid time off, plus 12 additional holidays off per year. Benefits are decent too. I'm not really happy with this, but it is a work in progress. I didn't push myself as much as I could have, but that is because it's my first time in the pool swimming laps in....oh about 12 years. Not bad considering it had rained all night and morning prior to the run. It was muddy and I had to walk more then I normally would have due to the trail conditions. Today I decided to work on my running form. I've read a lot about the subject of running form. Although, it is tougher to put into practice when you are only reading the material. <BR> <BR> I decided that when I run on the treadmill that will be where I test out my form. There is something about being forced to move your feet or you will fall that helps me get my form right. I'm not sure why. I ran a mile and some change, non-stop, with no fatigue. I was dreaming that I went out running. When I got up this morning, that's exactly what I did. I had a piece of whole grain bread with some peanut butter, swallowed my vitamins and off I went. I went a little nuts with all the working out. Saturday, I was going to do a boot camp, but I had to take my Brother in Law to the hospital. Yesterday, we had an individual challenge boot camp. We were all given a chart with 8 rounds of various exercises with different amounts. My dog likes to lunge at moving cars, barks and howls at other dogs, and whines at chipmunks and squirrels.
