I enjoy going to the gym with my husband and I have noticed lately my knees feel better when I don't hit the gym every single today. so far weight loss has not suffered. Looking or ward to riding my real bike out and about. Wed, 10 Apr 2013 18:45:24 EST Work out change ups. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5316125 I recently had a couple of days of recovery exercising and noticed I continued to take off pounds without the vigorous workout. I resumed my regular working out, and felt refreshed because of the rest. I also have been trying new strength machines as well as a couple ab exercises I never would have dreamed of trying before. I will continue to add weight to the strength machines to increase muscle. Mon, 8 Apr 2013 16:33:27 EST What to change?? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5303509 I need to eat fewer calories at dinner time, and eat a smaller percentage of my total calories each day. This is my moderation issue. This is particularly difficult for me as my work day is very unstructured and hectic leaving little time for regular meals.

Some options are pre-packed veggies, fruits and salads, scheduled food breaks during the day, and better meal planning for entire days, not individual meals. Thu, 28 Mar 2013 17:11:47 EST The battle against sugar http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5301173 Since starting this program in earnest about six weeks ago I have been doing really well. This week with the added stress of caring for my rapidly declining mother I have noticed more cravings for sugar and sweets, and a higher concentration of my calories at dinner time. :( I need to make some changes, that is clear.

Wondering how I can change these behaviors easily.... I started the stop sugar craving ps challenge, am going to go exercise when I finish writing this, and will all... Tue, 26 Mar 2013 19:31:32 EST A great weekend! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5281531 Beautiful weather two great workouts and my world is awesome. Three weeks until spring braek /Easter and then only about six weeks before the end of the school year! Yea!! Sun, 10 Mar 2013 18:46:32 EST Why am I here? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5279371 Why is it that I want to lose weight? Manage my diabetes, feel better, be able to wear cuter clothes, be able to move and enjoy activities like travel, gardening, walking and biking. I want to enjoy my children and not be a burden to them or my husband.

lots of good reasons, most of which have been there all along, I was too busy to take care of myself. That must change! Fri, 8 Mar 2013 20:37:06 EST Sick this week http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5267622 I have missed three days of work this week due to a nasty cough and fever. I was beginning to think I had Bronchitis, but the cough has started to loosen up and fever finally broke last night. I have not had the umph to work out since Monday evening, I may get something in tonight though if I can get motivated.

I have consistently been below goal on calories and carbs, but over on sodium due to soup intake. t any rate I weighed myself this morning and was down @3 pounds for the wee... Thu, 28 Feb 2013 19:27:06 EST So far so good. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5257716 in the past week have been following spark program fairly closely, but consuming fewer calories than recommended and fewer carbs. This has resulted in about a pound a day weight loss. While I realize his won't continue, I am pleased at my progress. Sometimes I feel so much self loathing that I didn't do this before. Today should be an exercise day of rest, but trying to figure out how to get step count up and keep moving. 250 Wed, 20 Feb 2013 16:00:42 EST
