I am hoping to at least eclipse the 40 lb loss by my 6 month of exercise. Can't complain about it, since I'm keeping it off and working it down week to week again. Workouts are still very intense and Donna has done a great job of mixing it up. It'll be exciting to get down past that next tens digit of 260. My weight has stabilized at 270ish(272 today). I am running on my non-training days now with Donna and I know I'm getting stronger. Donna had me do some .5minute sprints today at 10 deg incline. However, I truly feel I am getting stronger and since I'm working with Donna, she records everything, so we know where I have been and where I am today. She had me do a pace that I can maintain on the treadmill for 30 minutes and then started messing with speed that I was going in intervals. I was able to weigh in this morning, but I did it after my workout, so it might have skewed it a little bit. Should eclipse 30# lost next week, which will be huge. I am right on track with my goal of 60 by mid-October. I was back to 287, but I think I was dehydrated last Thursday AND I'm still on target to my weightloss goal. I'm actually right on the money, so that is good. <BR> <BR> Strength workout was tough today. We did quite a few exercises with weights and added some new exercises to the mix. Donna had me do side planks and what a challenge those were, especially on my right side. Heart rate wasn't too much of an issue, but I definitely was sweating. The morning was in the 70's, with wind and humidity. I have to say, I didn't sweat as much as I do inside, but some of that could have been the wind drying as I ran. We did 4:1 after that and some incline intervals. Heart rate was really going on the inclines, but I felt great in the first 20 min. I felt sick all day and my joints ached, so not sure what was going on there, but I felt reasonable during the workout. We did measurements today and weigh in and it was exciting. Biggie was my waist measurement was 2.25" smaller and my hips were .5" smaller. My weight is charting right on course at 291.5 lbs. She really did a good job of pushing me on the treadmill workout today. I felt pretty good, but it really helped she changed it up throughout the time. We did strength training first with lots of leg lunges, squats with weight, etc., but I need it. We walked 3 miles in 38 minutes and it was a really hilly course, so I was happy with how it went. She added some twists to the walk today, so I was able to get my heart rate up to 154bpm. At which time, of course, I'm really sucking in the air. We did a reversed strength workout starting with bale toss and I didn't seem to be as out of breath by the time we went through the first 1/2 of the strength segment. Lost a couple pounds, so we're off to the races. I haven't changed my eating or diet substantially. Maybe averaged more of a 139, but I completed. Workout on Thursday was very simply double what we did on Tuesday, but holy cow it's amazing how much it kicked my butt.
