No exercise and feeling a tad sorry for myself. <BR> Anyway I bit the bullet and tried cycling to work on Friday - Did it really hard about 4km s into the ride I felt like I was nearing the end of a 100k ride - No energy - arms were too heavy to hold the handle bars - couldn't get any energy into the pedals - Fought my way through and got the 20 k to work but I think I had an anxiety attack. I have cycled in the Himalaya's and I think my 20k flat ride ... With this DVT it is even more important that I lose weight. <BR> <BR> So no exercise but still managing to inch the weight off - very slowly but it is moving. Once again my body is being kind to me on the weight loss front. <BR> <BR> I also had to laugh as the day I was diagnosed with DVT sparks gave me a 100 spin on the whee... He complained of indigestion and vomiting and pains in his arms. I took him to the doctor - they sent us away with paracetamol. I took him home and he got worse and worse , he started thumping his chest and was cold and clammy. He survived that , but has a stroke as a result of the meds. He has had pleurisy, The hospital bug, chest infections, bladder infections .... and so it goes. He is 136kilos and in dire shape.
