I thought I could get some day old bread for my sister to make some capirotada (lent bread pudding) and found double decker chocolate moon pies! lol <BR> So I checked out the calories and it was a whooping 300, so I decided to eat one. I took several days off last week for Spring Break, had a blast spent a couple of days with my mom. I had a wonderful time, went to the beach twice and spent all day from open to close at Knottsberry farm got on one ride after another. I was totally exhausted from the beach all day on Monday I didn't sit down once, played in the water ( it was freezing), built a sandcastle, played ball and Frisbee! I figured since I was already taking some steps toward good health, I might as well join. You actually get to earn points to buy stuff from pedometers, movie tickets and an I pad. I actually had enough points to get my pedometer today, (if you order it on line it takes up to two weeks) so I lucked out and got mine today! woo hoo! Now I'll get to earn more poin... My youngest son loved it, he is more willing to eat healthy and try new foods, he also likes veggies. My husband and oldest tried some and couldn't swallow it fast enough. Fri, 20 May 2011 00:52:31 EST Fruit smoothies My son and I have been having fun trying to make diffrent fruit smoothies as a meal or as a snack when were hungry, its been good and we even bought some protein powder its been helping to curve our appetite. We usually put in some frozen fruit, yogurt, juice or milk with the powder. we've been trying with diffrent amounts of ingredients. Also we have discovered oraganic blue agave syrup, its supposed to be way better then sugar, sweetners, honey ect.... it metabolizes much better and helps y... She asked me if we could go for a hike in the morning at Papago park a beautiful park with lakes, mountains and all the beauty that is the AZ desert.
