I started it because I feel it is a great program and tool to help me lose weight. In the past I have lost 40 pounds using WW. Since that is not in my budget now, I am using SP which is very similar to WW without the personal meetings. Unfortunately, I have not been disciplined enough to succeed. I know this is one of the best ways to achieve my goal by being accountable for what I eat and do and thus lose the weight. The weekend is near and that is the hardest time as far as eating less. The portion of the trail we use is about 11 miles to the end and back. My goal was to go to the 5 mile marker and thus do 10 miles. It has been a very long time since I've been on my bike and I only made it to the 4 mile marker. I still feel pretty good about that but know that next time I'll definitely make it to the 5 mile marker if not to the end! Everything was okay. I'm glad all is okay. Chest pain is caused by many things and at least now I know it is not my heart but probably nothing of significance.
