Now I need to take the next step and track calories. I started my plan simply to just start exercising consistently for about 1 month without tracking food. The additional exercise stopped me from gaining about 2 pounds per month! I gained 12 pounds since March! I am exercising now, but just enough to call it exercising. I normally exercise straight through at least 1 hour non-stop. Sometimes I work out to walk DVDs all at once or I break it up. I walk in the yard while waiting for the dogs to go to the bathroom. I take more breaks from the computer. I go for daily walks outside when the weather is nice. <BR> <BR> 2. My attitude is more relaxed. I have stopped challenging myself to push myself too hard. I challenged myself and won. I worked out to and entire walking workout DVD by Leslie Sansone. Normally, I stop after 6000 steps but I just kept going until I reached 12,000 steps and finished the DVD! I could not believe it! <BR> <BR> The day started off bad and I literally woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I basically did not accomplish squat today that I originally set out to do. Well, so far I have worked out every day except 1 day since November 4th, I have done at least 6000 steps with aerobic walking indoors (too cold out). Today I added strength training with easy 5lb weights for 30 minutes. January 5th dad was admitted to the hospital, January 16th he died. I fell apart, literally. Today, I noticed I am finally getting stronger, it's like my old body has risen from a forgotten grave!!! It's been years, but I can do pushups, mount climbers, jumping jacks, situps and jog. I have completely cut sugar to a record low and sweetners (aspertame) out of my life and drink water like a camel. I've invested my time and money into purchasing a library of exercise DVDs, hand weights, yoga mats, stretchy bands, exercise balls and shoes.
