He always does great on the trail but did better than I'd have ever hoped when a younger horse got anxious and after watching for a moment, we just walked up to him while everyone else was backing away and he calmed right down and followed us where he needed to go. <BR> <BR> Love that the trees in the distance were starting to change. I spent this weekend working with Cochise. We're going to try and hit up the Versatility show in January it looks like this one may have a novice walk trot class. This weekend pony and I worked on patterns and got an extra hour of riding time in total. The barn owner/trainer helped and we've determined that he's dropping his shoulder to the left even at the trot. Needless to say we have to fix this and get it ... I was sick two days didn't meet calories those days and certainly didn't exercise. Yesterday I screwed up a bit and had almost 100 calories too much and fried food. But I did get 30 minutes of walking yesterday and so far 25 minutes of walking today. Hopefully I'll fit in a few minutes of exercise before bed after cleaning a bit. Then I can home, rested for 20 minutes and then danced to 80's music for half an hour. I felt a little silly at first but it was fun! Thinking about signing up for a pilates class or something since I'm quite lacking in strength training. Unlikely I will do anything exercise wise tomorrow as I have a dentist appointment. I only made 8 SPs. I think I may have picked the wrong week to start an exercise program. I did good on Saturday 30 minutes of exercise, 15 minutes on Sunday then yesterday just fizzled. Of course the weather didn't help either. I guess I need to get an exercise DVD so I can have something to do when it's cold and wet and I don't want to go down to the gym. Suggestions for a fun DVD are appreciated. I wanted to go to the little lake near me, but there was too much threat of rain when I went out. I instead went and rode the stationary bikes at my complex's gym for 30 minutes.
