Crumpets - 60 calories each. Good deal! Fri, 8 Mar 2013 14:18:08 EST BMI - Not in This Lifetime http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5277351 There is no was on this earth I will ever hit 149. I start to look emaciated about 155 and this site indicates a "healthy" BMI for me is achieved at a weight of 110-149. Ain't gonna happen.

"There are some drawbacks to using BMI. It is not very accurate for pregnant women, people under 5 feet tall, and people who have a lot of muscle mass. A recent article found that Brad Pitt was overweight using BMI! "

Not a lot of muscle mass, but truly "large boned". Irritating... Thu, 7 Mar 2013 11:44:22 EST Chocolate Rice Cakes http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5261043 Quaker Crunch Chocolate Rice Cakes - if you haven't tried 'em, do.

I'm not a big sweets person, but when the mood hits I can inhale a cheesecake! These have really worked for me and, if the calories for the day are too low, I add some Nutella.

60 for the rice cake and 100 for the Nutella - a lot better than the alternatives! Sat, 23 Feb 2013 12:48:42 EST Roasted Cauliflower http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5250585 This is my latest addiction.

Take a whole cauliflower and remove the leaves. Spray some EVO on a cookie sheet, a little on the cauliflower and bake at 400 for about half an hour until it's brown and crunchy on top. I like mine almost burnt.

Rub with some fresh garlic or sprinkle with some herbs. Filling and good! Even with the EVO it's around 105 calories and a lot of food! Thu, 14 Feb 2013 15:32:01 EST Tuesday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5247834 I took a day off yesterday. Retinologist day (shot in the eye) was reason A and reason B was it was time.

Soooooo - back on a modified Plan A and allowing myself 1,000 calories a day. Not "allowing" but will make that number! Tue, 12 Feb 2013 13:45:03 EST I surrender http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5246357 Alrighty then. My body is revolting to this eat less plan and is holding on to everything, so it's time ease up. Phooey. Not fair. I should be able to lose it as fast as I gained it!

Today is retinologist day, so my treat for being a brave little soldier (yeah, right) will be eating out. Reasonably, but eating out. Mabe a lettuce wrap garden burger. Mon, 11 Feb 2013 11:55:52 EST Macaroni and cheese http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5245722 pizza. With extra cheese. And maybe deep fry some of it. A ton of whipped cream and chocolate and a little ice cream to make it acceptable. Why is that? Why can't we just have a bowl of whipped cream and chocolate?

I know I can't keep 7 lbs a week up, but I am hoping when I can start moving that will help too. The knee is almost there, so I may give walking a try tomorrow.

This program wouldn't let me put in a target date of May - July was the soonest I could use,... Sun, 10 Feb 2013 22:34:53 EST Today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5245326 Lost 7 pounds in 8 days. That's probably a lot, but it doesn't feel that way. I really want a "cheat" day, but need to give it a few more days.

Sun, 10 Feb 2013 16:44:22 EST Measure! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5244408 I have been drinking my water like a good chubby camper and noticed something today. "Eight *cups* of water" . . . hmmmmm . . . cups as in a measurement, not a utensil. Got out the measuring cup and the glass I was using is *3* cups! Three! Being a bit of an over-achiever, eight was never enough, so that would make 27 cups of water on a bad day.

Sheesh. Sat, 9 Feb 2013 20:51:06 EST Huh? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5242773 Yesterday I weighed 193.5 and consumed 956 calories - am alloted 1,200 to 1,550. Today I weighed 194.2. My sodium was 2,315, only 15 over but still high. Hoping that was it.

Crap.
Fri, 8 Feb 2013 11:43:21 EST Wrong Info - Again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5241497 OK. So it isn't a *cup* of Eggbeaters, it's either 1/4 cup with 30 calories, 3 TBS for 30 or 3 TBS for 160. That's it. I input my own food.

Still can't exercise, but curtailing movement because of the fall has helped the knee. Sheesh.

It occurs to me my min/max calorie intake should change as I loose weight. Gotta look into that. Thu, 7 Feb 2013 11:42:26 EST Progress! A little. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5239369 Alrighty! Progress! Cholesterol from 749 yesterday to 80 today. The rest is the pits, but I am getting there.
Tue, 5 Feb 2013 21:43:23 EST Cholersterol Issue http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5238608 Darned near had a heart attack (suppose that would be literally, too) when I saw my cholesterol numbers yesterday. Needs to be 0-300 and I hit 749 with 864 calories. Eggs. Just too easy when I can walk out and get 'em.

Egg white is 17 calories with 0 Cholesterol; whole egg is 72 cal and 186 Chol. This is not a good thing! A whole cup of Eggbeaters is 115 with no chol. I think we have a winner. Tue, 5 Feb 2013 11:10:41 EST Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5237937 Found a page that tracked vitamin/mineral consumption vs MDR. I knew I would be below the suggested amounts, but I am *way* below; not good.

Will get multi-vitamins tomorrow and try to remember to take them with food. Might work better that way.

852 calories today, but since I can't exercise I need to keep it down to reach my goal. Mon, 4 Feb 2013 22:25:37 EST
