Then back up canyon, up to the ridgeline and back down to the car. It was a buttkicker, rated as difficult.

But we did it in about 3 hours.

Here's some pics.

Me!

<img s... I was able to do the whole routine today without much soreness.

I went for my first ride today on our rescue horse. We took him in last April after he had a bad pasture accident and snapped his tailbone and injured his shoulder. He had a bad abscess with necrotic tissue on his shoulder that started out as a... OOh, day 6. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5870964 I may have overestimated myself yesterday. I worked out, felt great.

Today I woke up early to go to the gym and literally almost fell out of bed because my legs hurt so bad.

But I pressured through. I got up, got ready, went to the gym. and I didn't die.

51 minutes on the elliptical at 5 resistance. 15 minutes walking 3mph at a 5% incline.

Squats, done. pushups done.

Still alive, and feel better for doing it besides being sore. Deep cleaning, down to the hardpack in the corrals. I think my back almost gave out at least twice- but I survived.

For dinner we baked talapia and some plain rice. A little boring but it was tasty.

Tomorrow is my first day back to work since starting my new spark journey.

I prepped my food for the week yesterday- cooked chicken breasts in the crock pot with some salsa and pu... I have 7 months to do this, and I know it is doable.

The first three days are always the hardest, so I started gentle.

Day 1: I started my diet back up.
