PROJECTFIT4LIFE's SparkPeople Blog PROJECTFIT4LIFE's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community Haven't felt this "on the wagon" in a long time Something clicked last week and suddenly the junk food cravings are in check- I even stayed away from the office popcorn machine today- and I feel like the real "me" again. I've been running less but working out more. This past week I did some P90X workouts, some Turbofire last night and am loving lifting weights again. Worked on my arms 3 x's this week and I already can see and feel a difference. Ate a very healthy lunch outside in the sunshine today, tilapia, green beans and rice, and read ... Tue, 4 Jun 2013 16:02:32 EST Evil Office Popcorn POD's! "T" days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) we have Plan on the Day meetings at work- why not daily, I don't know- but it's tradition in the office to pop popcorn for the meetings. 6 cups (and 8 WW pts later) I'm regretting that I let myself cave in, but have you ever sat in an 8 person office with the smell of delicious popcorn caressing your nostrils?! It's hard to resist. Ended up having oatmeal for lunch to combat some of the damage and most likely hitting up spin tonight as it's been raining on a... Set a new PR, my previous was 2:22 so I am really excited to shave 5 minutes off!! Great course, a few hills but nothing too bad, mainly flat. This was the largest race I have run (26k participants!) and I was suprised that the race traffic was still fairly spread out even from the start. I looked back at my calendar (I write in my weigh in stats) and December 2011 I was 163 lbs. I ate terribly over Memorial Day weekend and weigh in on Tuesday morning at 162 pounds. EEEK., Ok so I haven’t gained but I’ve been putting in a lot of workouts and not seeing the progress I would like. I did hit 156 lbs in March but that was literally one weigh in and then I was right back up to 158-160.
So I’m re-dedicating myself to logging my calories. I tried to get away from this for a lon... Thu, 31 May 2012 17:53:30 EST Day 4 challenge update! We had a “look whooos turning one” owl themed party with lots of family and friends. It really was a great time. It's an amazing site for anyone who likes to do online shopping (this girl!!).

How it works is you go to their website (copy and paste the link above in address bar) and then type in a store (i.e. old navy, nordstroms, childrensplace etc) and then it takes you to their website, you shop and ebates credits you a % of what you spent! For example I just spent $80 at... Thu, 16 Feb 2012 11:41:30 EST Small Victories Hey everyone! Wow so I’ve been meaning to post a new blog for a week now but haven’t gotten around to it so I’ve decided to take a mini break here at work and finally jot some of my thoughts down.

I’m still weighing in 159-160 on a daily basis so no new lbs have come off in the past 2 weeks BUT I did have a few mini shopping victories!! Picture blog :) The past few days have been a ton of fun but HORRIBLE when it comes to my diet. We've had a bunch of snow (well a bunch for us....about 6") and we've had an ice-storm so my work has shut down the past 2 days. It has been so much fun hanging out at home, introducing Bailey to her 1st snow and teaching Macayla how to do snow angels but it's also given me waaaay to much time to bake!!

<img src="http://photos-ak... My sister and I had a lot of fun in the parking lot after we finished our 3 miles. We crossed over 2 bridges and it was gorgeous! My garmin watch wouldn't locate the satellite. I've been told that means I just need to charge it so we'll see. I think it took us about 35 minutes. It was the first time I had run outside in months, normally I'm on the treadmill since it gets dark so early at night now and we did a few hills so I feel it in... Sat, 17 Dec 2011 14:11:44 EST 164 and losing! Hope you all enjoy my latest update. I should mention that my tv dinner was a lean cuisine (meatloaf) and it was pretty good actually. So I just had an A-MA-ZING spin class! Burned about 540 calories and though VERY tired was having fun the whole time. We had this spunky little instructor who was so good that I had to go out of my way after class to tell her how great she was! She had us do a TON of hill and jumps, quite a few sprints, barely any recovery, and I left soaked with sweat!

Then I decided to jump on the elliptical and treadmill and between the two burned another 383 calories. I needed to burn... Wed, 16 Nov 2011 23:55:58 EST Weekend Recap Hope you all had a great weekend! This is how mine went down.. Sun, 6 Nov 2011 22:18:55 EST Day 4 of my new found dedication!! Whew! What a busy busy busy day! I literally haven't sat down ALL day (12 hrs now!) I woke up this morning, drank my muscle milk lights, and went to the 8:45-9:45 sculpt class at the Y. It was great, did a TON of lunges and squats of course. There was NO cardio in it though. And it made me realize just how weak my abs still are, booo! Area to work on for sure!

Then I came home and had pizza eggs, YUM! They are just egg whites with turkey pepperoni and a tiny bit of mozzerella but... Sat, 5 Nov 2011 22:12:39 EST Day 3, short blog Hey all. Thu, 3 Nov 2011 15:33:17 EST Accountability Hey all!

I have decided that I am going to blog daily (vlog when i can) to keep myself accountable. I have set my november goals to workout EVERYDAY, no matter if that means an hour at the gym or 20 minutes working with resistance bands in the garage I WILL make a concious effort to be active above and beyond my current lifestyle.

I have also set a goal to not eat ANY fast food this month. Subway is OK! But I will keep my house stocked with healthy options and no matte... Wed, 2 Nov 2011 10:08:57 EST So proud of myself! Hey Hey SP!! So today I had a slip up- I ate TWO pieces of costco pizza today for a lunch totaling just about 1,000 calories!! eek! We did a charity luncheon at work with all proceeds going to St Judes Childrens Hospital. After the costs of the pizzas, plates, water/soda etc. we made exactly $200 profit. We have 5 more feeds to go so hopefully we will be donating $1000 :) Anyway serving the pizza all day drove me WILD so I broke down and at two slices. BUT I logged them in SP which is a small... Thu, 6 Oct 2011 19:49:38 EST Calories & Mental Issues Hey All. So I wanted to get some of your feedback on a few things. I have a major mental issue with food (as most of us on here seem to), and I was logging in my calories this morning and looking at what I have eaten and wondering why I feel so fat! I don't think all calories are equal so I have a hard time believe that weight loss is REALLY calories in vs calories out. I understand the theory behind it and have preached to to friends for years actually but the more I think about it how can s... Tue, 4 Oct 2011 14:19:07 EST New Start! Fall be will AMAZING!! Good morning! It’s a new Monday. I’m starting over for like the 5th time in the last month, deciding I can’t let one bad day de-rail me. I have only worked out 3 times since my half marathon on Sept 4th, talk about crappy! But I’m maintaining my weight loss with decent eating I just need to re-kickstart the workouts! I talked to my husband last night and think we will sign up with the YMCA. I get irritated with a community based organization charging so darn much for their program. Part of th... I shut off the internet for the summer (and cable) so that I could spend more quality time with my little family and enjoy the outdoors instead of getting stuck in front of a box and wasting away the hours. Unfortunately that means I can't get on spark often :( It's hard because so many of you are motivating and I love seeing your progress but at the same time I love not feeling the need to jump online every couple of hours to check facebook and my email! LOL.

I have been ... Wed, 8 Jun 2011 11:32:20 EST Food Journaling I began food journaling again. My friend and I are trying to hold eachother accountable so I'm having her periodically check my food journal and so far it's paying off! We started on wed the 20th and so far some weight has come off (I'm not saying how much until my official weigh in on tuesday!!), and I feel better. I decided that I don't want to obsessively track my calories like I did when I lost 87 lbs back in 2009/2010 simply because I really want this to be a lifestyle for my whole famil...
