I did my 12 miles and felt good afterward. My food reflects trying to keep my body in check and not eat so low that I tap into muscle stores. I'm adding another 400 calories in dinner and that will keep me satisfied and ready to hit it hard next week. I got a lot of stuff planned to keep the body busy!!!

phit-n-phat.typepad.com/phitnphatcom
/2009/02/i-need-motivation.html
Sun, 22 Feb 2009 20:01:43 EST Backwards Walking Blog and My Own Hamstrings http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1818585 I wrote a detailed blog about backwards walking...
phit-n-phat.typepad.com/phitnphatcom
/2009/02/why-walk-backwards-on-the-tre
admill.html
...and let me tell you...with all this marathon training I cannot wait to get back to it.

While doing 12 miles on a TM today my hams were really getting tight. All I wanted to do was go the opposite direction. I run 4 and walk 1 and the last two miles I did exactly that. I slowed down and walked backwards and it felt great... I don't change my food but once every seven days. FYI. 4 Wed, 2 Jul 2008 08:57:53 EST New Blog! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1283701 I moved my blog from my phit-n-phat.com site. I didn't like that blog feature so went with something more robust. I still have the awesome website, just blogging somewhere easier. LOL

http://phit-n-phat.typepad.com/phitnphat
com/

Comp training is going well. I had a great eval today with my coach. He likes where I am at and thinks I should just keep going heavy with the legs. Upper body is great...lower body is where we need the magic to happen. Luckily, I work hard a... Fri, 20 Jun 2008 22:24:38 EST New Menu Is Posted http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1229882 I have a new menu and started with a local coach. I loved working with the Henershott team but I had to financially go a different route with my son's expenses. That's OK because the local guy is awesome! Today we did a track workout that ended with dragging a big football type sled backwards down a track a couple of times. The rest of the workout was bleachers, sprints, and more bleachers with hops and jumps. Legs should be amazing when this is over or I'm cutting them off.

Anyway... Thu, 1 May 2008 08:56:42 EST I'm Logging Each Day Again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1146509 Long story short, for now I need to log it in each day. I'm having a tough time with the low carbs and protein and eating in general. Not eating junk, just skipping and tweaking without looking. So you might see me popping in more to log. Wed, 16 Apr 2008 11:18:06 EST My Menu Week of April 14 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1141959 Things got to change a little this week due to a few factors. My son is now on the GFCF diet and that means I'm giving up the gluten/casien right along with him. Here's the link and it won't change this week outside of the cheat meal on Friday lunch.

http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/nutri
tion_food_chart.asp?sid=%2CdCOl%21%2C%
26U%3Bac%2Fgj%27AhqY+%5Cp%3DrqU%40Rm&i
MTGoalNum=32183284&dteDateShowing=4/14
/2008&bGetElementByID=TRUE

I'm eating really small mea... Mon, 14 Apr 2008 14:34:41 EST My Menu for the Week of April 7 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1126721 I will be eating the same menu as last week. I'm hoping to get a new one next week because how much fish and tuna can a girl endure? LOL.

I did well with the menu until Thursday when I rushed out of town for a few days. The trooper I am threw together as much food as possible and stuck to the plan for about 80% of the trip. Then I took my cheat and ran out of food making so-so choices. The end result is carb bloat and you can read about it on my www.phit-n-phat.com blog for today.... Mon, 7 Apr 2008 18:40:31 EST My Menu for the Week of March 31, 2008 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1111832 I will be eating the same menu all this week so if you want to see it, just scroll over to March 31 and you will find foods and such. It won't change until next Monday and since I'm very consistant you'll only see a post if I were to deviate from the plan. Don't look for a post. :) LOL.
