I had my podiatry appointment today, almost a month after my sudden onset of heel pain. The diagnosis is what I ultimately suspected: plantar fasciitis. It's basically a salad in a box, minus the lettuce (you provide that). Microwave it and voila - your very own salad. <BR> <BR> I had the Asian-Style Chicken, and it's pretty tasty. The box is 260 calories for everything, and when you add a heaping pile of lettuce to it, you've got a pretty healthy veggie-fied meal to enjoy. I am not a fan of hot toppings on a cold salad, but I went for it anyway. Glad I did! <BR>... Fri, 31 May 2013 14:17:15 EST Day 10: Skipping Meals and the Temporary Pain Solution Good and bad, I have been faithfully tracking my food. Due to napping (no lie - I nap more than my son!), I have inadvertently skipped a few meals. Only one time did I end up below my calorie range; mostly I've been - ahem - making up the difference. That won't last forever! <BR> <BR> I am quite pleased with how easy it was for me to get back into this. I don't feel hungry or deprived. It's been working out for me. The structure is helpful too.
