This morning God made me realize that (and these are the exact words that popped into my head), "Satan is the craftsman of counterfeit". Think of all the things we desire, that we crave, and how we fulfill those cravings. I'm NOT giving up on healthy eating, for both of us. He fixes his own breakfast, usually 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 slices of toast with margarine and a tall glass of orange juice. I just couldn't sit still in my seat and when all the caregivers and survivors come out in the last scene, I had tears! (I never cry!) This is one of my favorites: 1 slice Village Hearth 12 Grain Bread with 1 tablespoon Smucker's Natural Chunky Peanut Butter, 1/4 cup Land O Lakes Fat-Free Cottage Cheese, and a single serve can of V8. Total 219 calories, only 9 grams of fat, 21 grams of carbs, 15 grams protein, 621 mg potassium, 13 grams calcium, 446 mg sodium, and 5 mg cholesterol. Delicious! Thu, 7 Oct 2010 23:48:59 EST Blood Pressure Monitor Yesterday I bought a blood pressure monitor and learned how to use it. At first I was using it wrong and got about 6 wildly different readings, so of course, I thought there was something wrong with it. HA! Then I read the instructions. The healthy eating since August 1st and retiring from my job have made a big difference in my blood pressure!
