Been working at it for a year, running for the past 6 weeks 2 miles 1-3 times a week and really ready to give up. I have a nasty habbit of binge eating when I am bored/stressed/feeling lighter/depressed and I just can't kick it. I feel like being a mom triggers all of my binge eating situations and I just can't get back to staying on track. Now the holidays and cold weather are making it even more difficult to keep up withe the fitness minutes and extra sweets/... Just by changing the settings on my elliptical trainer I have managed to make progress. It's a harder setting on the elliptical where you aren't going as fast as I was in the manual mode but higher inclines in midrange. So far it's doing a great job of keeping me interested on where it's headed and I like it a lot more than the manual mode I was used to. <BR> <BR> I stuck to my goals for the weekend. No drinks... I was feeling a bit overwhelmed a took a day off from my challenge and rested up. I'm glad that I did because I feel so much better today. No bloating, fatigue, or bad mood! Today I am starting to do an extra 15 minute walk at work (I normally walk only on my first break) which is an extra 30 minutes of cardio each day in edition to my 40 minutes of elliptical as well.
