Since mid July I've lost 9 inches from my body, 3 of those were from my waist alone! My body fat percent dropped from 49.8% to 45.6%. And my BMI went from 49.8 to 48.0. Those numbers are still terrible, but heading in the right direction so I'm happy. I've been a bit M.I.A. the past week and a half. I've been struggling with crazy anxiety. I went 9 days without working out because I was just so panicky and depress... Fri, 11 Aug 2017 12:34:05 EST 7/2917 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6393555 Not sure if I mentioned this in a previous blog or not, but some of my friends and I signed up for a 5k run September 30th. I'm no where near being able to run that far nonstop. But I decided to start training now doing c25k (couch to 5k). I've used this program in the past and I got myself to the point that I could run 4 miles without stopping. I wish I would have stuck with it! I miss the feeling of being able to run no problem. Now, I'm running for a minute at a time and totally out of... Sat, 29 Jul 2017 15:42:09 EST 7/23/17 Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6390952 Since my last blog, I've been doing very well with my eating and exercise. I'm not weighing myself until tomorrow but once again 3 coworkers told me I look like I'm shrinking. My scrubs are definitely looser. I'm feeling great! Now on to my rant. Last night I was watching a show on TV about weight loss and it was a group of nurses. 74% of nurses are overweight or obese as compared to 37% of the general population. Also night shift nurses die 7 years sooner than the general population. That... Sun, 23 Jul 2017 10:24:07 EST July 17th http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6388479 I'm extremely frustrated. Friday I weighed in at 314.7. As I said it my previous blog I went out Friday night, had several vodka tonics, and an order of nachos at taco bell. I knew I would be bloated because I always retain water weight so I purposely didn't weigh myself Saturday. Yesterday I weighed in at 318.0. I was still ok with that because I KNEW I did not have enough calories to really gain 3.4lbs. Saturday and Sunday I ate 1700 calories went on a walk yesterday, drank tons of water ... Mon, 17 Jul 2017 09:49:46 EST July 15th Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6387832 Well yesterday went really great, then really bad in terms of weight loss. The day started out with my cardio tabata workout. I crushed that. There are 20 different moves in this workout, and I typically have to modify 2 or 3 of them, but I told myself I was going all in and I did. I did every single move, every single rep, full force. Afterwards, I felt amazing. Then in the evening I went to a wine tasting followed by a bachelorette party. I told myself I was gonna have 2 drinks at the bar a... After about a week of no movement, I lost 3lbs overnight. Finally. I've been working out and eating right, and I knew I had to be retaining water. Fri, 14 Jul 2017 09:22:17 EST Goals and Reasons to Lose Weight http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6385396 As I said in my previous blog, I took a walk today and it really helped me clear my head and think about my goals. I was walking on a trail beside a lake near my house, a trail that I used to run on often when I was 100lbs lighter. The air was kind of chilly and it made me think about fall, and the first thing that popped into my head was "If I lose a bunch of weight, I could look so cute in fall clothes." That may sound like a silly goal.. but I LOOOOOVE fall. I love fall style, the cute boo... Sun, 9 Jul 2017 22:23:16 EST July 9th Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6385336 The last few days have gone really well. I haven't weighed myself because it's that time of the month finally, and I know I'll just be upset if bloat weight shows up on the scale. I've been completely crushing my workouts. Thursday I rested. Friday was 30 minutes high intensity interval training cardio. Saturday was 40 minutes body weight strength training and cardio, and today was running around the yard to my son and his cousins, playing volleyball, and a 40 minute leisurely walk. My body i... I took my son outside to swim in his little pool, and did a tabata workout I found on YouTube. It was great and I was dripping sweat when I got done. Later in the evening we drove to a lake about 30 minutes away and watched the firework show. It was awesome. We met my friend and her kids there and my son had a great time ... I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th. I haven't been the greatest at blogging the past week. Life gets in the way, but I need to stay accountable and blogging helps that. Yesterday I weighed in at 319, the scale finally budged in the right direction. My goal by my next official weigh in day (Monday) is to be 314lbs. I can do it I know. It was planned, and I don't feel bad about it. I ate super healthy all day and after work I took my son to the carnival. We split some fair fries and a funnel cake. It was delicious and we had a great time. By the grace of God, the scale didn't go up at all. Today I woke up feeling like I had a hangover though. I think it's a combination of the greasy fair food, being a bit dehydrated, working a 12 hour shift then spending 5 more hours on my feet at the c... I'm trying hard not to be discouraged because I know my time of the month is coming in a few days and I always bloat the week before. On a good note today though, 2 of my coworkers told me I look like I've lost weight. Makes me feel good. Towards the end of my shift today, I was feeling really exhausted and had almost talked myself out of working out. I decided to ask my friend to workout with me after work. She said yes, and we di... Thu, 22 Jun 2017 11:10:28 EST It's Time for a Reboot! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6377955 I started this year at 322lbs, and here I am today at 320lbs. WTF. I haven't been consistent with eating right and working out... and 6 months into the year, I'm exactly where I started! I'm frustrated with myself. I've probably lost 100lbs since January 1st, but it's been from me losing and regaining the same 10lbs all freaking year over and over again. 198
I workout and eat well for a week or so, then one bad weekend and I'm right back where I started. I'm going to have to stay in my calorie range every single day and not miss a single workout. Since my blog a few days ago, I've lost another pound putting me at 312. I've stuck to my wor... The past year has been a struggle to find myself, to stay afloat financially, to be a great mommy, and to start the process of trusting someone again. I started dating a man in January, who I really thought could be the one for me. In the beginning he was sweet, charming, and amazing. As time went on, and I fell in love with him, he turned into not such a nice man. He started getting very controlling. Fighting wit... Sun, 28 Feb 2016 17:15:17 EST February 25th http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6105038 So things may be getting a little easier for me when it comes to fitting in workouts. My soon to be ex husband and I had a long conversation today about several things but towards the end I asked him if he would be willing to watch our son for a little bit every day so I could make it to the gym and he agreed. We are working hard to get to a place where we are more friendly with each other. Some days we do good and some days we just don't. But him saying yes is a step in the right direction b... I'm trying to get better but my life is insanely busy. I'm juggling working 12 hour night shifts, being a single mom, dating, keeping my house clean, cooking, etc, and trying to find time to squeeze in workouts. To top that all off my son and I have been sick off and on the past few weeks. My workouts have been hit or miss. My eating is the same. I'm eating pretty healthy when I'm home, but when I'm with my boyfriend not so much. He's Italian and... Since my past blog I've been keeping up with my workouts and eating really healthy. I'm looking to see some of this weight fall off! I'm not gonna weigh myself until Tuesday. That will be day 7 of this challenge I'm doing and I'm hoping to see a significant loss. Today I was supposed to work a 12 hour night shift, but they didn't need me the first 4 hours so I spent some extra time in the gym. Yay! I'm also working a 12 hour night shift tomorrow. On a pers... I also haven't had a ton of time to workout but I've been doing what I can. Today I started a 5k challenge on spark people. In 10 weeks I should be able to run a 5k. I'm ready for that. I miss being a runner. I want to focus on losing as much weight as possible in those 10 weeks so it becomes easier for me to run. Then I can focus on getting faster. My plan for the first 5 weeks is to alternate days of r... He used to be around to watch our son so I could go to the gym or go walking or whatever. When he left it became very hard for me to get to the gym most days because I have no one around to watch little man. It was a rough week emotionally and I didn't make the best food choices this week at all. I still lost a pound but that's not enough and I'm not happy about it. I've been dating a guy the past few months and on Monday I decided to break up with him. I care for him a lot but he has a lot of qualities that I don't see meshing with me long term. I feel bad because he's super nice and treats me very well, but I don't feel like he's my forever. It was hard seeing... The first week of this year went great. I am down 7lbs since January 1st and my BMI dropped an entire point! I stayed within my calorie range all the days except one. We had a going away party for a coworker Thursday night and I had a small piece of ice cream cake which pushed me slightly over my calories for the day. My workouts are where I let myself down a little. My goal is to workout 5 days a week min... Sat, 9 Jan 2016 01:25:02 EST 2016 is here! My goals for the new year! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6056545 2015 was a rough year for me. I am so happy to see a new year roll in so I can start fresh and just focus on myself. I'm not making "resolutions." I have GOALS for 2016, and I WILL achieve them. Here they are: - Lose 100lbs by December 31st, 2015 - Run another 5k, running the entire time - Do 10 man pushup - Do a Warrior Dash I'm excited for a new year. I'm tired of feeling like my life is out of my control. It's time for me to regain control and take my life back! Fri, 1 Jan 2016 04:00:48 EST Going Well So Far http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5986961 So on Monday I decided to recommit to being healthy. Thursdays are my regular weigh in days, so I stuck with that. From Monday to Thursday I lost 1.5lbs! I'm good with that. I've been eating super healthy and working out every day. I finally feel like I'm back to my motivated self! I'm in a much better place mentally. Working out is so good for my mood.
I've been keeping super busy with my son, work, my friends, and getting my healthy on. Life is good! Sat, 29 Aug 2015 17:51:56 EST Picking up the Pieces http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5984679 2015 has NOT been my year. The purpose of this blog isn't for sympathy, but to explain what's been going on in my life. At the end of May, my stepdad (who I consider to be my dad) passed away very suddenly, then the beginning of this month my husband decided to end our marriage and leave for someone he had known only a month. That was also very unexpected since we never fought, told each other we loved each other all the time, and were ridiculously affectionate all the time. I was completely ... Tue, 25 Aug 2015 18:08:18 EST Small Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5565289 The fast few days have been good. My husband and I have been eating super healthy and sticking to our workout plan. We went on a run/walk for 5 and a half miles today outside. I'm guessing we burned some extra calories just trying to trudge through the snow. It was freezing but it felt good to be out in nature.

The plan for tomorrow is to do 30 minutes strength training abs/back and 45 minutes of hard cardio. I'm gonna run a mile as fast as possible on the treadmill and then do s... Mon, 16 Dec 2013 01:15:58 EST 12/12/13 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5563278 So I'm a little late posting my update for he 12th, but day 1 was a success. I did 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill at 15% incline and then 30 minutes of strength training on my legs and glutes. I followed my meal plan and stayed in my calorie range. I had tons of fruits and veggies along with some lean protein and good carbs and I feel better already. I already have my meal plan and workout plan made out for today too. I'm happy to be back on track. No more excuses. Fri, 13 Dec 2013 01:06:29 EST I Need to Get Back on Track http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5562445 So the past month has been rough on me. I have been going through a ton of personal stress, which I don't want to get into. I'm hoping it's all resolved now. I haven't been working out and eating the way that I want to and I haven't lost a single pound in the past 4 weeks. Ugh! At least I haven't gained but I was really hoping to be in Onederland by the end of this year. That isn't going to happen no matter how hard I try. 198

I'll get there, just not in the time line... Not so much with my eating. Too much candy and too much junk. I've maintained my weight loss and even dropped a pound in the past week but for the amount I'm working out, it's a shame I haven't lost more. I need to get back to my clean eating plan and stop with all the junk. I just have a terrible problem with stress eating. Ugh. I'm a work in progress.

I've planned out all of my workouts for the next 2 ... So we close October 28th as long as the inspection is ok. This is our first house so I'm super stressed but excited. I've been eating a lot of sugar. Stress eating. No good.
