Our closing was pushed back about a million times but we finally were able to close Friday. That was also the day we had to be out of our apartment. So we got the keys Friday at 5pm and moved at the speed of light. I had to work 12 hour shifts both Saturday and Sunday, so our new house is no where near being unpacked. I am so glad to be in our new home. I'm a little stressed though. I have painting to do and a few other pro... Mon, 28 Apr 2014 00:59:36 EST April 1st http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5661573 I feel like this year is flying! I haven't been getting very far with my weight loss goals for the year yet, but the scale is trending downward. So I'll take it. The year started off really rough for me but lately I've been back to my old routines of working out and eating right. And the weather is warming up which makes me SOOO HAPPY! I love being outside. It's actually supposed to be in the 50s and 60s here all week, so I've planned my workouts to be outside pretty much of the week. Here's ... Sat, 22 Mar 2014 04:05:09 EST Day 14 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5642600 It's officially day 14 of my 28 day streak. I'm sitting at work, and again like last night there is more junk in the breakroom. It's becoming downright ridiculous. Today it's doughnuts, chips, and cheesy popcorn. I'm not even tempted today but I have to remark on it. Why do nurses eat the most junk food of all? We all know better! Anyways I'm sticking to my diet and going strong. Yesterday was so warm and nice outside. I went running for 30 minutes then walked for 15. It felt really good. I a... Sat, 8 Mar 2014 03:23:17 EST Day 13 of 28 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5641835 It's day 13. I'm sitting here at work, bored and craving junk. AS USUAL there is junk food at work. Chips in the breakdown, and a huge box of cookies at the nurses station. I am being good and resisting even though today has been particularly hard. I was craving junk food all day before I even.got to work. I'm happy to say I've stuck to my diet all 13 days and have not slipped up. I've been working out like a beast too. I'm excited for my weigh in Sunday. I'm expecting a good loss. The plan f... Fri, 7 Mar 2014 04:48:14 EST Day 9! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5638217 It's day 9. I'm sitting at work on the night shift bored. I'm happy to say I'm still doing awesome with my clean eating and working out. I have my meal plan all made out for today, and later tonight my husband and I are going to make meal plans for the rest of the week and go shopping. I have been eating tons of fresh fruits and veggies, and I can really tell a difference in the way I feel. I have more energy and just a better mood all around.
Btw I guess I can't count very well. I thou... Mon, 3 Mar 2014 03:56:31 EST Day 7 of 30 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5637023 I'm very excited to say that I've made it through a whole week of clean eating. I did not slip up once and I am so proud of myself!! Last night I went out with my friend and our kids to dinner, and while everyone around me was eating pizza, calzones, and fries; I had a grilled chicken salad (just chicken and veggies- no cheese, no croutons, nothing.) A few weeks ago if I had a night out like this I would have stressed the entire day about slipping up, then gone out and slipped up anyways. I'm... Sat, 1 Mar 2014 16:17:29 EST Day 4 of 30 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5634816 Days 3 and 4 were great. I stuck to my plan of totally clean eating and I did some killer workouts both days. Honestly since I made up my mind to stop eating junk, I haven't even really been tempted. Yesterday when I got to work there was cake in the breakroom. Surprise surprise! People at my work love junk food...UGH. Then in the morning as I was getting ready to go home, someone brought in a huge box of doughnuts. These people are killing me.. (and each other) with all the junk. I'm happy t... Wed, 26 Feb 2014 22:46:30 EST Last Night Was a Win http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5633172 Lately I have been struggling with my eating. I'll do great for days then get stressed and slip up, feel guilty, and binge. I'm an emotional eater, and this just leads to a vicious cycle of horrible eating. I eat bad, I get depressed, I get depressed, I eat like crap. On and on it goes. It was getting to the point that I was starting to have anxiety about going somewhere and overeating. I workout like a crazy person, but we all know you can't out exercise poor nutrition. Anyways on Sunday I f... Tue, 25 Feb 2014 08:03:21 EST An Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5623077 I haven't blogged in the past week because I've been super busy. But I've been keeping up with my exercise and eating well. We have been house hunting for the past week and we found the perfect house. We put an offer in on it today... so hopefully they will accept. I'm so excited.

Yesterday my hubby and I went and got tons of fruit and veggies, and other healthy stuff so we are all ready for the next week. We did an hour of intense cardio yesterday and worked on our glutes for 30 m... Thu, 13 Feb 2014 11:44:22 EST Day 6 of my Feb Challenge http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5617099 So my challenge has been going well so far. Yesterday I was too busy to blog but I ate right and I got a workout in. I ran for 20 minutes then walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes with the incline all the way up. I feel like I am finally starting to get my motivation back. I'm having to force myself less to workout, and just doing it automatically. Also it's not so hard to eat healthy, although I'm still craving sweets. I stepped on the scale today too, and I think I've lost a few pounds b... Thu, 6 Feb 2014 16:30:58 EST Day 4 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5615412 Day 4 went very good. I ate pretty well today. Breakfast was greek yogurt, strawberries, and granola. Lunch and dinner I had grilled chicken salads. So yummy. For my workout I did 45 minutes on the elliptical and 45 minutes walking on the treadmill at 15% incline. I feel really good! Tue, 4 Feb 2014 22:04:13 EST My February Challenge http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5614105 So January did not go as expected at all. I'm not going to list all the reasons I got off track. They aren't really important. But the fact is I got waaaay off track. I gained some weight and I'm very unhappy about it. I've been beating myself up for the past week and I've decided that I'm done with that. Everyone makes mistakes. I have to pick myself back up and move on. So I decided to give myself a challenge for the month of February. It's exactly 4 weeks. The plan is to eat clean every da... Mon, 3 Feb 2014 14:12:26 EST Small Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5585319 So the first week of 2014 went very well. I feel like I am starting to get my actual motivation back instead of just going through the motions. I actually want to get in the gym again instead of just forcing myself. Today I'm planning to run at the gym since it's freezing outside, then working on my glutes. And the plan is to eat totally clean and healthy. Bring on the day! Tue, 7 Jan 2014 08:37:28 EST 2014 is Going to Be an Amazing Year! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5580441 2013 was a very good year for me. Filled with mostly happiness and blessings. My goals for 2013 were to run a 5k- which I did and surpassed, be able to do 5 real pushups- done and surpassed, and to get under 200 - not done.. blah. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. 9

The good thing about a new year is that it's a chance to start fresh, set new goals, and work towards old ones that you may not have met yet. I am very very very excited to start over!
I've set some pretty intense ... Fri, 3 Jan 2014 08:36:42 EST Small Update http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5565289 The fast few days have been good. My husband and I have been eating super healthy and sticking to our workout plan. We went on a run/walk for 5 and a half miles today outside. I'm guessing we burned some extra calories just trying to trudge through the snow. It was freezing but it felt good to be out in nature.

The plan for tomorrow is to do 30 minutes strength training abs/back and 45 minutes of hard cardio. I'm gonna run a mile as fast as possible on the treadmill and then do s... Mon, 16 Dec 2013 01:15:58 EST 12/12/13 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5563278 So I'm a little late posting my update for he 12th, but day 1 was a success. I did 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill at 15% incline and then 30 minutes of strength training on my legs and glutes. I followed my meal plan and stayed in my calorie range. I had tons of fruits and veggies along with some lean protein and good carbs and I feel better already. I already have my meal plan and workout plan made out for today too. I'm happy to be back on track. No more excuses. Fri, 13 Dec 2013 01:06:29 EST I Need to Get Back on Track http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5562445 So the past month has been rough on me. I have been going through a ton of personal stress, which I don't want to get into. I'm hoping it's all resolved now. I haven't been working out and eating the way that I want to and I haven't lost a single pound in the past 4 weeks. Ugh! At least I haven't gained but I was really hoping to be in Onederland by the end of this year. That isn't going to happen no matter how hard I try. 198

I'll get there, just not in the time line... Wed, 11 Dec 2013 22:12:04 EST Staying Strong http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5530498 So I've been super busy lately but I've been doing awesome with my workouts. Not so much with my eating. Too much candy and too much junk. I've maintained my weight loss and even dropped a pound in the past week but for the amount I'm working out, it's a shame I haven't lost more. I need to get back to my clean eating plan and stop with all the junk. I just have a terrible problem with stress eating. Ugh. I'm a work in progress.

I've planned out all of my workouts for the next 2 ... Monday and Tuesday I was super sick.. fever, chills, and insane nausea that wouldn't go away. Then Tuesday I got an abscess on my inner thigh. I worked a 12 hour shift on Tuesday and it rubbed on my pants and got super huge and painful. So Wednesday I decided to go to the doctor. She put me on antibiotics and cut and drained it. Sorry if this is gross and TMI. But anyways it hurts really bad, and it'... I went to the gym.. ran 2.7 miles in 30 minutes then walked 30 and worked on my legs and butt for 30. I'm so close to my goal of running a 5k without stopping! Super excited. For dinner I had a very delicious salad with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, green peppers, onions, and grilled chicken. Yum.

I'm meeting a friend in an hour to workout. Mon, 15 Jul 2013 09:58:44 EST 50 Day Challege :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5420857 Well in the past 2 weeks my eating habits haven't been what I want them to be. Too much sugar and fat and not enough veggies. I've been maintaining my weight but that's about it. It's kind of depressing to not see the scale moving down but I know I haven't been eating they way I should. So my husband and I decided yesterday to do 50 days of eating according to our plan and doing at least 10 fitness minutes a day. I plan to do way more fitness minutes than 10/day ( I usually do 60-90).. but ... I maintained my weight after my crazy overeating last weekend, and stuck to my planned workouts 100%. So I'm happy with that.

As far as my running goes, I've completed the c25k program and I can now run 30 minutes without stopping at 5mph to 5.5mph. I haven't ran a real 5k race yet because I want to work on my speed. So now I am redoing the c25k training running at a 6mph. I started at week 4 and it feels pretty doable so I just want to increase the ... Tue, 28 May 2013 07:31:27 EST Weekly Update Blog http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5354635 Well I haven't exactly been keeping up with my weekly blogs but I'm going to try to change that. I'm down 105lbs now and super excited about that. I'm also excited because I've been making real progress with my running. The other day I ran 2 miles straight. It too me a little less than 23 minutes and for me that's amazing. I never went less that 5mph.. but more than half of the time I was going 5.5mph.
