Fri, 20 Jul 2012 10:14:00 EST Body Assessment Day Yesterday I had my body assessment at the gym. Much as I expected, my BMI is past 'obese' and into 'shocking'. Years of yo-yo dieting without any real exercise has taken a toll on my muscle, and now I'm largely (no pun intended) fat. Time to get serious. I would love to use the services of the personal trainer at the gym. She's a lovely lady, a real inspiration and fun to work with. And, she's $70/session. I'm rather concerned, as I know (yes, I've been down this road before) that I usually lose big in the first few weeks, then taper off.
