OMG!!! My lifestyle is soooooooooooo busy that I don't watch too much TV. I was watching the Lakers play (loose) to the Suns. I love the Lakers and it was hard to watch the game. Good news. My 14 year old son, Joseph has been struggling w/ his weight for a couple of years. He is on Spark Kids and has lost 10 bs in 4 months. Also, he is still growing,(getting taller) and all of his pants are way too big for him. I am so mimpressed how he has taken responsibility on his own, packing his lunch, reading labels, not eating out, not getting seconds, etc. He only drinks, water, crystal lite, and skim milk. I am too proud of him.

OK, so here is how I get a new healthy chocolate fix. I air pop some popcorn (whole grain) and heat up 1 T Nutella spread in the microwave. ( 20 sec.) I place 2 cups of popcorn in a bowl and drizzle the chocolate over it. Let me just tell you that this snack is around 100 calories and loaded with goodness. MMMMMMMM I'm in love. Go ahead, make some. Our church had 5 members to go to Ethiopia for a missionary journey. They will be there 18 months. They will be teaching at a villiage school. What a humbling experience. I am so happy for them. I'm praying that I will be able to do something like that once my kids grow up.

Lots of smiles today! My 3 sons got report cards today. Well, 16 A's an 1 B. We are so proud of them. We always ask them to do their best. The thing is, they love school. Each time we go to Wally World, they always purchase books. Reading is the key to their success.

Hampton Roads, VA is pretty much under water. All of the tunnels are closed b/c of the high tides. Expecting more rain than Hurricane Isabel. Winds will be at least 60 mph. The Hampton Roads, VA area is under water right ow. All of the tunnels are closed. No coming in or going out. The water level will be as high as Hurricane Isabel. Thank God the winds will reach only about 60 m/ph. I am thankful that all is well in my home. The kids have been out for 3 days. Ther has not been any reports of deaths or injuries. Thank You Lord.

It's raining and cold. About 50. Well, just a little too cool for me. I have not taken out my fall clothes. Forecast calls for cold rain all weekend. HS football game tomorrow (son's playing). College game Sat. I'm not too happy right now.

Juicing Everything!

I am on this juicing/smoothie kick. I drink a 3-5 fruit smoothie/juice w/spinach for br & lunch and a 4-5 veggie drink for dinner. ( yes, I do eat sensible for lunch and dinner). I've been only doing it this week, but I feel great. I'm running low on produce, so I may have to cease this project until next week. I have a juicer/emulsifier similar to the one Montel advertises. It makes lots of liquid beverages. The good thing is you don't have to peel any of the veggies.
