Like what I heard. He was willing to work with me on a limited amount of sessions. Great! Signed up for two session.

Friday, feeling good, work going well, get a call after manager leaves that her wallet has been stolen. She tells me to check mine because hers had been in our break room. Sure enough...its gone...so is all of our money. Insurance cards, other credit cards, even the social security... Wed, 19 Jun 2013 00:31:19 EST I'm not counting this week. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5257228 Ever have one of those weeks where no matter what you do you feel like a giant balloon worthy of being in the Macy's Day Parade? This is one of those weeks for me. Water retention, generally bloated and puffy...yuck! I'm blaming hormones. Wed, 20 Feb 2013 09:12:53 EST A Quick Note or A Harsh Lesson http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5245885 After taking care of sick kids and fighting a sinus cold the past two weeks it has all come to a screeching halt for me. My motivation is there, my strength and fortitude are not.

Best thing that happened today: Picked up the SP Kindle recipe book for vegans/vegetarians for only $2.99...Awesome deal. Looking forward to giving it a going through and trying some of the recipes.

Worst thing of the day: You'd think it would be kissing the porcelain throne all evening, but no... Mon, 11 Feb 2013 03:27:37 EST Fitness while Cooking? Oh, yeah! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5243772 So last night I decided I had a lot of wasted time while cooking dinner. It was a process of stir, wait, stir, wait...which lead to BORING! So I formulated a little plan to kick the boredom, keep my food from scorching and work on my fitness minutes...

The Lunge and Stir Method!

I did sets of lunges, wall push ups, modified tricep dips and some stretching in between the monotonous stirring of my veggies and taters. The results?

Nothing scorched and my buns are... Sat, 9 Feb 2013 09:53:52 EST Crying over Biggest Loser http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5240984 Okey dokey, I'm watching the recorded episodes of Biggest Loser that I missed. (Yay for the DVR when I'm sick.) I'm at the episode where they surprise the teams with an impromptu 5K run...

(Flashback!) A couple years ago I really wanted to do a 5K and work my way up to a marathon for my 40th year. I didn't get encouragement. I got laughed at. I did lose a little weight, but depression and life circumstances took their toll and I succumbed to them. I gave up. Totally gave up on me. ... Thu, 7 Feb 2013 00:20:15 EST Vegetarian, but what kind? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5234027 There is a lot more to being a vegetarian than simply not eating meat. I'm learning as I go along. I've been a lacto-vegetarian so far. Eating cheese and using some bovine milk to cook with.

Now, as for eggs...I haven't been able to eat an egg since discovering some of the cruel things those birds are put through. However, I have had a couple Tbl. of miracle whip salad dressing and there is a trace of egg in there. So, technically, I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian.

I ha... Sat, 2 Feb 2013 03:12:38 EST Still Here http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5225613 I've been distracted by a lot of things (read the last post entry and you'll get a good idea).

1 - Still having relationship issues.
2 - Trying to find work.
3 - Struggling with some recent lab results that have me very concerned about the future of my health.
4 - Doing research on a vegan lifestyle.
5 - Not giving up on me.

Be around SP...hope to see you out there too. Sun, 27 Jan 2013 13:10:35 EST The Camera Doesn't Lie http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5099182 Went to a wedding this past week where I was the Matron of Honor and also gave away the bride. My husband was to take photographs in case the actual photographer missed some candid moments with her professional shots and posings.

There were three of us standing up with the bride, her groom had a best man. My two youngest daughters were "flower" girls (actually seashell girls since they tossed shells onto the beach from their cute little silver pails) and the groom's nephew made a h... Sun, 14 Oct 2012 22:10:17 EST Another day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4877061 I've been so inconsistent with taking care of me again. I need to break out of this. The past couple of months its been about taking care of my husband's grandmother and getting my daughter ready for prom. The dress turned out lovely and she looked beautiful for her Jr. Prom but I'm still feeling the after effects of sleepless nights. How can I expect to care for everyone else's needs if I'm run down from neglecting my own? Fri, 11 May 2012 12:39:32 EST March 28th http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4808734 I have a lot to do! My shoulder is still healing and yesterday my dog, same one, yanked it again. I've been having intermittent tingling and numbness since. Why is it really such an issue now? Because I have a prom dress to make for a very special 16 year old girl...my daughter.

I've been dreading this since the injury. Its hard to cut with scissors on a straight line let alone cutting on various curves and angles. This dress has to be perfect and for it to be perfect the pattern ... Wed, 28 Mar 2012 10:22:02 EST Feb 23 2012 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4753223 After doing fairly well with a Weight Watcher's program I had to go on steroids and gained back the weight I'd lost plus a few pounds (of water I'm assuming from the little pillows that still bless my finger tops). Once I realized our finances were taking, yet another hit in a year, I had to stop my WW Online account...$60 bucks in the whole and 13 pounds heavier. Spark People had helped me in the past so I came back. Completely appreciative of the free site and the overwhelming amount of sup... Thu, 23 Feb 2012 12:16:45 EST
