It took over two weeks to find our money. We needed a car of our own. Every one we looked at was way too big and very often smelling of cigarette smoke.
A friend told us about a used car dealer out of town who they were pleased with and so far he had been a very fair man.
They actually drove three cars home to try . That sounded good. In the UK I rode a Motor scooter, my pride and joy and I saved my money to buy myself one. I soon learned how our English had changed. The first week we were here in Augusta we were invited to go to the bowling Alley with our friends. They both bowled in a Church league and they did say if we get bored we could go to a local grocery store. I was certain I would like to roam around a grocery store instead of watching some thing I had no clue about.

We went to the Jerry Brook lanes. Mon, 6 Apr 2015 22:52:09 EST Leaving Boston going North to Maine. We landed early afternoon and we wanted to get something to eat so our friends who picked us up had already decided on the restaurant.
This couple came from my same home town in UK and he told DH about Maine. Sometimes I worry about... Thu, 26 Mar 2015 00:02:16 EST Today was the first time I could walk this year in our neighborhood. I looked out the windows to blue sky and bright sun.
The city had removed the snow to widen the roads and they went back to the sidewalks.
