I was ready to cry.
Even I liked that one I will try to write that one again

I was typing and as it flew by I had a thought.
I think that the pointer moving across the screen was able to remove what was on the screen.
I had to search for the touch pad and then I went to the settings and I switched it off.

I have been trying to catch up and tonig... Mon, 23 Nov 2015 22:35:35 EST It happened again. I must be doing something wrong here. Our son is off work but DIL works a very full day. We never put up the Christmas tree till... Fri, 20 Nov 2015 22:50:27 EST Acupuncture today and I am feeling better. I got lucky. My Acupuncturist was in Boston to a seminar on brain injury. I have had 2 concussions this year. There was no apparent injury but I was told the older brain does not get back to its proper function for a long time.
Yesterday I was called to tell me he would like to try again on my brain. They said come up in the morning so I went.
I felt I had already had the third eye but it was the needle that was different. I had all the needles in place and I just lie there quietl... Thu, 19 Nov 2015 23:27:05 EST Thanks to Spark I forgot to follow up with Sleep study. I have had sleep studies and they sent me home a couple of times. I cannot get in to REM sleep. I thought nothing about it so I forgot about going back again

Today an article talked about REM sleep and memory problems.

My Dr wants me to take medication, I want to know why I cannot say my favorite poetries and also the nursery rhymes I used to entertain the kids with.

I read an article and it says if people cannot get to sleep memory suffers.
We have been... Tue, 17 Nov 2015 21:49:52 EST Rail Trail again, the Geese are leaving to go South again. I almost wept. I love to watch and hear the Geese flying North. There is an area of the Kennebec river where they rest.

We were walking and there was a weird noise, eventually we looked up and there was no one who wanted to lead, perhaps they all wanted to lead. There were so many and so loud so they must have been feeding in some big field. The noise was so loud everyone was looking up, everyone else laughed but I know they are leaving me behind in the cold.

I love Maine but I have to... Sun, 15 Nov 2015 23:58:05 EST We made progress with getting ready fo the holiday. The living room and dining room are ready to have family or company. Both of those areas are rarely used these days but if I make my mind up and go to it -----it will happen!

Our bedroom is so much better having two separate areas in a single room but we like it.
DH needs a curtain across the big window so I have fabric to make a half curtain so that way the brightness from the outside will not be messing with his eyes.
I tried it for him and he is sure he will like it ... Sat, 14 Nov 2015 23:33:51 EST Last day of antibiotics. HOORAY! Ten days was more than enough but the Orthopedic Dr. said it needs something to get the swelling down. I did it for the 10 days and I did not dare to do my long walks on the rail trail. Today I was asked to walk with one Walking buddy. I did ask her to walk slower. She has had a cold so it was good for both of us..
Talking with two people really takes the mind off walking. It was a good walk and neither of us wanted a coffee.
The contractor came and began to remove the front roof s... Fri, 13 Nov 2015 22:06:06 EST I am seeing the end of the bedroom dilemma. It works and we are both happy. Now I have washed the bedroom walls. Moved the freezer and my big dresser-it is ceiling high with its huge mirror. It is across the middle of the room DH and I both have desks behind the dresser and we are both happy in this space. Now the rugs are the only thing to do.
DH and his reader are on the bigger desk. He sits at the window and he loves the bright sunshine. I sit at my desk and I have it all uncluttered. There are a few boxes with card collection so I am digging it all out and... Thu, 12 Nov 2015 22:20:14 EST I feel under the weather, but there is a lot of clutter GONE!! DH and I were supposed to have our flu shots.
I was taking antibiotics because my hand was painful and very red. He had a cell phone on his person always but he never thought I moved appointments for DH and undoubtedly he will want to come on those days.

I have managed to move DH desk from the basement. Our bedroom is sunny all morning and now there is so much light for him to sit with his computer. I had to move his rather large lo... Tue, 10 Nov 2015 21:40:04 EST Hectic day but a really good local concert. Todays Senior College concert was an excellent a Duo of ladies who both were educated in University of Maine. I do try for healthy but big fruit never goes so it is a challenge. I put out some diabetic candy just small hard candies, gluten free and chip and cheese. We do label the sugar free items and keep them on one table. I keep an eye on that.
I have to transport it all in totes and then set up the tables.

This year and last I put out the chocolate and granola bars last. Some people come early from long distances. There are some bussed in from some nursi... Sat, 7 Nov 2015 22:07:33 EST We went to a haunted house. The owner lives there alone. She has 20 rooms. This is a new friend from the Senior College. She is a widow and she stays there all the time and mostly alone.
Just walking through the house was making my legs ache. There are so many stairs. The lady has an entire room of Doll houses,. Mostly made them herself. Today I went to senior college. I had made a Korean meal and others brought along the little dishes.
There was very little to add to my Beef and rice and lettuce.
I had carried the totes and frying pan up to the second floor. I took a table cloth and moved desks. The instructor was just going to put them on desks but I had to take charge.
I can be pushy. Wed, 4 Nov 2015 21:54:47 EST I needed test strips and I was denied them. Medicare wanted me to change my strips. November already and the days are all messed up. It takes me a long time to catch up with the clock. Today I had to buy all the refreshments for our senior college concerts this year.

Over the weekend I called and the pharmacy said Medicare has changed to less expensive strips. I have had the same brand and I wanted them again. I told them I would prefer a co-pay. By then they had not even called to say anything about the change so for the first time I was not able to post FBS. <... Mon, 2 Nov 2015 21:34:29 EST Just a few minutes to Blog. Senior college had a program about Broadband, so we went. This is the Forum of the future. Maine has a lot of areas where they can not get to cell towers and the people cannot get computers and that holds them back and their children can not get to computers.
The program was over my head but I love Maine and all of the residents should be able to have the same opportunities.
It was complicated and I am weary. I am off to my bed and I will concentrate tomorrow. Pat in Maine. Sun, 1 Nov 2015 23:00:36 EST I was pleasantly surprised others thought my blog had the same thoughts. I was feeling guilty and we did go to the movies. Enjoyed a good movie " the Bridge of Spies" Steven Spielberg-Director and Tom Hanks lead actor. We liked it. I rarely go to movies about war time but there was no overt scenes that bothered even me. It was so well directed.

At the movie house there were a number of our generation were talking together and they felt the need to not stay in their neighborhoods.

After the movie DH and I were going to eat out. We took the truck to have an area of rust patched up so it will pass inspection. We had been having our son drive to work in it. DH only uses it for lugging stuff to the dump etc. Today the truck was in the garage. Our son and DIL had very odd work shifts so DH and I stayed home and they both took the two cars.
DH was waiting for a call and in the meantime we both watched TV-Downton Abbey. Wed, 28 Oct 2015 22:54:25 EST PAT IS DETERMINED TO GET BACK ON TRACK. Today I have walked almost 10,000 steps. I used me Gazelle. It was part of my little Gym in the basement. When the family moved in to the basement the Gazelle was put outside in the garge. Some days it was used but the warm weather gave us lots of opportunities to do yard work or going to the each or the woods to walk in the shade.

Over the last few months I walked with my walking buddies. All three of them went out of state and one had several hospital trips. She finally had her a... Sat, 24 Oct 2015 23:58:06 EST We stayed in all day trying to get more space. I like it better but still not enough space. We have moved all the bedroom furniture. My gosh that stuff is heavy even with the sliders on the carpet. We are liking where we moved the bed to. We always like to make sure we have no large furniture pieces over the heating base boards. Summer we stop the heat and we can get a fabulous breeze from the back yard it is a nice place for a wind mill but so far no-one has even thought of the wind generator. Our Plattsburgh son would have one of those up in a hurry if he had a permanent home. The... Fri, 23 Oct 2015 23:52:41 EST Right now we are trying to make the house roomier so we are not in each others way. I am trying to make room for DH new piece of very special electronics. Mon, 19 Oct 2015 23:30:10 EST Today was so much better, senior concerts are back and I feel useful again. Today our concert was a group of 100 musicians but most of them are self taught or learned to play instruments later in life. One 82 year old lady began the violin at 80 years old.

We usually have our concerts at the University in Augusta but the stage is small. We were able to procure the new CONY HIGH SCHOOL. With over 100 musicians on the stage they could easily move around. Our sons went to the old school and I had no reason to go to see the new High school. It was built with ... Tue, 6 Oct 2015 22:16:08 EST My day was productive. I have cleaned all thebase boards so we can put the heat on. If I leave the baseboard's till the fall I can get the dust and flies so I leave them in there in summer. Taking the baseboards apart and seeing the pollen and dust in there makes me feel so much better than SPRING CLEANING. That is easy with the doors wide open in the spring-I do it but I get restless to get out to the sun.

Fall cleaning I give all my energy to get the place clean so I can stay warm in a clean house and when I look out to Snow covered Maine it feels like the wor...
