Almost 40 years ago, a routine Pap smear picked up an early cervical cancer. I had treatment and have had no signs of recurrence. <BR> <BR> I found out yesterday that an early breast cancer was detected thanks to a screening mammogram. I'll have a biopsy to confirm the specific type of cancer on January 6, then find out what treatment the surgeon advises.
