Fri, 4 Jul 2014 09:54:14 EST Time to get back in the groove I am not sure why I do not feel as motivated as I have in the past but the things that used to excite me are no longer working. I met with and filled out a survey with a health coach the other day. I want to see how much the cost will be but maybe that one on one attention will get me motivated again. I am hovering around 182-185 and not gaining but also not loosing.

I really want to get into the 170's by the fall so hope this will help!!

Mon, 30 Jun 2014 07:46:43 EST What a wonderful start to the weekend!! Fri, 6 Jun 2014 07:48:24 EST Sabotage I keep setting daily goals then follow some but not all of them. I am not sure what is going on that I am struggling a bit. Grabbed a muffin and a cookie. I knew I should not have them but did. Then I had planned to make acorn squash for my dinner. My farmer called and invited me out to dinn... Fri, 2 May 2014 07:55:18 EST First 5k of the season Walk/jogged my first 5k of the season yesterday. Wow am I out of shape for these. I thought I would be fine since I walk the dogs everyday and walk longer distances already. Very different than walking the dogs for sure. It was chilly/breezy and we walked/jogged against the wind which made it a tad harder I think. Felt so good to accomplish it though. I have two more coming up for the next two weekends then I think it settles into 1 each month except August where I will participate in m... Mon, 28 Apr 2014 07:15:54 EST Fun Exercise!! Wed, 19 Mar 2014 07:24:51 EST Stress I am stressed out about my upcoming speech about overcoming obstacles in my life and work place to achieve success in my personal life and business. I have such a fear of speaking about myself. I would much rather divert the conversation off to other things. This is definitely something out of my comfort zone. It does not help that I am not power point savvy and it is taking extra time to put this together. I am so honored that I was chosen for this award but deep down I feel so unworthy... Wed, 19 Feb 2014 07:38:52 EST What will today hold? What challenges will today hold? Will I learn from them? Will I realize in the moment that I have a choice to make? Only I can determine my outcome. Will I turn a blind eye to what is right in front of me, giving me a choice, one that will lead me in the right direction and the other in an unknown direction? When I meet people today will I remember that I have the choice to stop for a moment and take time to smile, say hello and maybe learn something from them? OR will I get so busy wit... My youngest and I took a train into the city and met up with my eldest. We then walked about a mile to a restaurant for lunch. Friday I started a "clean" eating challenge and I know that events can often undo my best intentions. I vowed that I would decide not to have the bread, booze or dessert last evening and instead savor the company and the dinner that I could eat. They brought out a clear chicken noodle soup, a salad with balsalmic vinegar then the main course of a filet mignon, small chicken breast and some julienned zucchini. They also had new potatoes on the p...
