I do not want to do weight loss surgery, I feel like I need to lose this weight by getting my "head" right. I have had a handful of people I personally know that chose to do weight loss surgery this past November and December.

I wish I didn't feel those pangs of jealousy......when the 5 people I know who have had surgery report thier massive losses. 25 pounds,30, 50, 55 & 100 pounds all gone. The jealousy doesn't last, but I do feel it briefly. ... Tue, 13 Jan 2015 16:25:22 EST I am pleased My official weigh in day is Sunday. Today I weighed and have lost 3 pounds. I started in again at 271 and today I am at 268! 244 Even better than the 1 pounds per week goal I have for myself! I have moved out of the 270's and into the 260's. I am excited!

IN the past I would have been depressed that I was still a hundred pounds overweight. But I realized, truly realize, that it is one pound at a time. And this week was 3! 104 Sun, 11 Jan 2015 14:02:41 EST Sucess one at a time I am truly excited today. I have lost two pounds this past week through exercise and eating better.
