One of the most powerful ways to expand in beauty and abundance is to voluntarily turn away from, or minimize your exposure to violent entertainment in all of its forms. Violent entertainment, while it seems innocuous, is an assault against the sensitivity with which we are all born. Violent video games, television, movies and entertainment can erode our sensitivity and diminish our empathy. We are all too comfortably adjusted to a diet of violence. Depending on how selective you are with cho... Fri, 25 Sep 2015 10:47:52 EST Need round 22,000 steps from today thru... Saturday to get my 70K steps for the week! You don’t have to have your first kiss at any certain time, you don’t have to get married in your 20′s and you don’t have to do anything just because other people think it’s best. In fact, you will be much better off if you just do what your heart says. Dietary fiber is one of the fundamentals of a healthy diet, and a lack of adequate dietary fiber will eventually stall your weight-loss efforts. In terms of using fiber to support weight management, 35 – 50 grams of fiber per day (men on the higher side) is recommended. Both soluble and insoluble fiber help weight loss by acting as a “sponge” for toxic waste, which is vital to get out during the weight-loss process.

The government recommends 25 grams of fiber per day. Fri, 11 Sep 2015 07:17:43 EST Okay, so first game is in the books! Steelers looked bad in the first half, their kicker missed 2 field goals so not good! They had serious Red Zone issues, they woke up in the second half though. The first game is always the hardest in my opinion. I want to see Denver and Baltimore Sunday and the night game of Dallas and the Giants! Go Seahawks as well, their first two games are on the road but when they get back to Seattle in week 3 the 12's will give them a rousing ovation I am sure! Tue, 8 Sep 2015 00:01:32 EST About 2.5 hours away from heading to the airport... and coming home, yes it will be a long flight journey back but we have snacks, tablets, books, search-a-words (only me on this one) journals and a few magazines to keep us entertained. Also, sleep is entertaining right? I'm not all that entertained by movies on flights, music and podcasts do it for me. I rarely chat much on flights, Paolo and I have coach the first and third legs since they are shorter flights. The middle leg is the longest so business class is absolutely necessary for a 13 h... We are leaving Sydney on the 4th and flying over to Perth which is 2 hours behind us! Its a 4.5 hour flight it seems. We'll leave Perth on the 8th instead of the 9th so we'll be home a day earlier. Paolo has to get back to work overnight on the 13th Sunday, going into Monday. It's nice we had a changeable ticket if we needed to do that. We'll be back in Sin City later on the 8th. Sydney has been lovely so far! A more detailed report later. Here we are pretty much at September 1st and we're headed to Perth on the 4th since we'll only be there a few days for meetings (For the SO, otherwise we would have just stayed in the Sydney area for this leg of the holiday.)

I saw Dr. Wayne Dyer, Wes Craven and Dr. Oliver Sacks passed on in the past few days. Stop blaming and start being!

Stop blaming and start being! We attract what we are. We attract who we are. If you don't like something in your life, look only at who you are. Who you are is why you choose the friends and situations in your life. Who you are is why you choose poorly, or fail to choose wisely. Stop being a victim! If you do not like a certain behavior in others, look within yourself to find the roots of what discomforts you. The conflicts we have with the outside wo... Sat, 29 Aug 2015 13:24:20 EST Okay Sydney Its almost 9am Saturday morning here in Sydney! It has been great here so far and we went out for dinner last night and we came in after and about 2 hours later I went to sleep. Its been a bit to adjust to the change for me. I guess we all have one international trip where the time change is hard to deal with. I have been sleeping at night from about 11pm-630am or so. Maybe its because I didn't sleep much during the flight that may have turned me round, I'm alright though. As long as insomnia... Fri, 28 Aug 2015 19:17:18 EST Last post from the Aloha state~ As much as we both enjoyed the week here it is time to move to destination #2 Sydney! Thank you higher power for the adjustment lol.

The SO enjoyed learning Hawaii through my perspective and he loves the Kona coffee. Thu, 27 Aug 2015 05:43:06 EST Quick update! The SO figured out Hanauma Bay was closed Tuesdays so we pushed it up a day, we'll go early and come back by mid-afternoon. I am picking up my bracelets round 4pm tomorrow and then we'll go have our last dinner here at the Luau.

So what did we do since the plan was reversed? The SO played 18 holes of golf. Wed, 26 Aug 2015 05:39:52 EST Hawaii more... I am in Hawaii still and figured it was time for a check in. Sat, 22 Aug 2015 15:29:07 EST On a plane.... Yesterday was a travel day, we left our home and got to the airport and checking in was nice enough, we had a fairly direct flight to Hawaii! I slept a good portion of the way from LA to Hawaii since I recalled how that went. I was wide awake from Sin City to Los Angeles. The SO made the travel reservations and he did a fine job!
