MYAKAYAH's SparkPeople Blog MYAKAYAH's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community Tuesday feeling fine! Thanks for the well wishes about the allergies. I took one more allergy pill and it knocked me out again so I am going to avoid those little sleep enhancers. I just want my allergies to go away not give me an excuse to sleep too much. Funny times, if I knew these allergy pills were sleep aids I would have used them for my insomnia last month and I would of done just fine. (Not really but its kind of funny if you think about it a little bit.)

It was trying to rain today, just period... Tue, 3 Mar 2015 21:48:02 EST Monday night! I felt bad a little while ago and I thought maybe it was TOM but no it was some kind of gas attack from something I ate earlier. I need to be a little mare careful I think. I felt nauseated and like I needed to well, you can figure it out. Sorry to be graphic but I felt a little more than rough, I still feel it some but its much less than it was.

The rain is gone but we have wind and cold temperatures this week until Friday and then it gets back up into the 70's. I'm all for that i... Tue, 3 Mar 2015 02:47:35 EST RAIN Again! Bring it on, we need it a lot! I made 1230 cals today and that is kind of low but I am having a snack in a bit so it'll raise me to the upper 1300's or low 1400's! I can't do much more than that since I have been drinking a lot of liquid today and that usually depresses my appetite a bit.

No outdoor activity with the rain going on. Its been steady and hopefully it helps us out here. I don't recall there being this much rain last winter. Maybe its all the praying I've been doing. I'... Mon, 2 Mar 2015 00:10:05 EST Happy Thursday! Be sunny and happy~ Today was busy and I was tired since I slept very funky last night, I was waking up a little much. I had errands today at the bank, Target, having lunch with my Mom and grocery shopping! It was round 70F and sunny. I did fine for being sleep deprived and didn't go carb happy. I did ST today but I have no patience to figure out my total points today. I'll post up tomorrow for that task! I get lazy when I am a bit tired, better to do such things when I have patience and time for it. I made hamb... Fri, 27 Feb 2015 00:46:49 EST Kinda tired tonight at 830! I suppose it happens to mere mortals such as I am. I did do a fair amount of work, exercise, cooking and housework. I still need a shower before bed. Its supposed to get down to 39 degrees overnight. More rain coming so my prayers together with others must be working. I don't recall this much rain last winter. Indoor exercise will have to occur when the next event runs through here. We're stocked up with food so whatever happens I won't have to dash out to get anything I don't think!
<B... Tue, 24 Feb 2015 23:52:16 EST Maybe a bit of remodeling to be done! Last night Paolo was doing some thinking since we are staying here. He said to me what do you think about moving the dining area across to where the den/office is now and knocking down the divider between the living and dining room? (My first thought was, this is going to cost money right lol!) If we could do this then it would give the house a bit more character. The house to me looks like a box, a square box, but a box.

We have more colour upstairs than downstairs so we would pai... Mon, 23 Feb 2015 19:22:08 EST Oh I'm feeling lazy today bad! I'm going to have to pull that 10 minute exercise rule up today and walk or do other exercise and keep going, I'm going to do it later though. I've haven't gotten up in a cranky mood in a long while I'm having that going on today. I had a coffee but its not really helping any, some days you just have to persevere through!

Its overcast but bright and we could be looking at some rain today and tomorrow. Wednesday we should be getting back to normal sun and warmth but today its higher... Sun, 22 Feb 2015 16:51:27 EST A few things! Staying here in Sin City!!! First off, I just came in from my walk and I am alone so I can take time out to do a bog entry and cool off from the exercise. I just washed down and changed so I'm not sweaty like. I have in over 11K steps as of right now, but I will do a 20-30 minute walk later before ST comes in and I'll be good for the day with walking, yoga and ST. I don't think cardio is going to make it in today which is alright since most days I can only do 3 of 4 exercise components.

So in terms of vitamin... I'm going to have an apple and protein bar later because I've had 2 full meals today and don't feel like having another full meal. I am going out walking for 45 minutes or so round 630-7pm in the neighborhood so I'll get in all (or darned close) to my steps today. I am round 6000 right now. I walked as much as I could earlier but some days it takes an evening walk to get back into 12K range! ST is done since I accomplished it earlier! I think I may do an abbreviated yoga today since I am feel... Thu, 19 Feb 2015 21:16:36 EST So I am tired about 9-10pm at night now! So I have to finish up my Spark Tasks before this point in the evening. I cannot wait to do my blogs for so late sometimes but I don't feel like doing them earlier, or have the time to do them in the morning or afternoon.

I decided not to do my ST today because I am fairly sore for some reason, will have to push it to Thursday in the evening I suppose. My numbers today look like this

Steps 12,247
Active minutes 80
Miles 5.27
Calories 1800 as of right now! ... I'm headed to bed pretty quick here, it was a very busy day full of work, cooking, housework, dealing with a cat and all other manner of going through a day.

When I'm this tired not much to say but good night and see you tomorrow! Tue, 17 Feb 2015 01:42:39 EST An account of this week and Cooking following! I thought I would make an entry early for the day since tonight and tomorrow will be busy for me. I have 3 appointments tomorrow and tonight I am finishing up work so I can take off all of tomorrow so I don't get behind.

I have the Doctor's (therapy) appointment, my cat needs his shots for the year and I am taking him to the clinic since he hates everywhere near my house so far. He's a moody thing so I expect more of the same tomorrow. I have an appointment at Paolo's work because... Sun, 15 Feb 2015 18:48:40 EST Happy Friday its Blue Bloods tonight! Paolo and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day as it so commercial in nature! The 2 young ones will be with their Mom in a few hours. It's likely tonight we'll just have supper and watch TV since Paolo likes Hawaii Five-0. (I like the original.)

Tomorrow I am making Paolo his favourite pasta dinner and we'll have a dessert. Probably chocolate mousse with fruit for him because he likes chocolate and fruits. I despise that. I like chocolate and I like fruit but not together, ho... Fri, 13 Feb 2015 20:02:40 EST Yeah, moving is a positive but a pain as well~ I can live with the moving honestly. I've liked Sin City for the most part but living in Charlotte will be fine I've lived in the South before in 2 different cities. (Baton Rouge and Atlanta.)

Moving will be fine since I've done it so many times I pretty much have it down pat on how to handle business. The SO wants to head down there during the young ones Spring Break so we can look at some houses. I think this is in April, I'm too tired right now to figure that out honestly. Toda... Wed, 11 Feb 2015 22:27:16 EST So decision made for the SO He said it was alright to start letting my people know lol! Thank you Paolo!

(Sidebar-Last night I was watching the news before Jeopardy and the weatherman here seemed gleeful we are in a heat wave for February and Saturday should be close to 80. I was happy when we were getting rain though. It was as much rain in the winter as I have seen since I have lived here for just over 2 years now.)

I hinted recently to some of my SP friends that my SO had a pretty big decision t... Tue, 10 Feb 2015 23:09:04 EST Sleep is coming a little bit better! Yes, I practise yoga just about every day! I've done the Sleep Challenge here on Spark People 2 times now and I keep track for my Doctor and I have consulted with him on this problem. Some of the problem is I have a very active mind and I am using meditation and prayer to help me when it is time to wind down. It may take a little time to see good results!

This time it is as bad as it has ever been so that is why I am concerned, its probably stressing me out a little so I'm working ... Sun, 8 Feb 2015 00:34:33 EST A shorty! I'm still trying to sleep and I thought it was getting better but in some ways its a little worse. Working on the Doctor's suggestions but until something kicks in for me I may be a little bit less on SP.

It makes it kind of bad because TOM has arrived and I really am tired enough to sleep, the next step is knock out drugs apparently. I've been getting 4 hours here and there but not 7-8 good hours of sleep. The Doctor said that is just as bad as not sleeping because the sleep is br... Tue, 3 Feb 2015 14:17:02 EST I'm trying but I'm dying! Not literally, I have strange humour when I am lacking sleep! I'm trying here but my brain doesn't want to go to sleep in the morning or at night apparently for these last 2 weeks. Just have to wait for the crash and burn, its coming soon I feel it!

Food, exercise, me everything is suffering but I just have to ride it out until I can sleep like regular people.

I have no energy to discuss the Super Bowl but bad decision on the coaching staff to pass it in the end zone on ... Tue, 3 Feb 2015 00:57:07 EST Super Bowl, funky weather! Well, it looks like we are in for mostly partly sunny weather this week, but it will be warmer so that's nice. I'll go walking, have a nice time at it!

Watched The Super Bowl and The Seahawks defeated themselves so the Pats won since they did much more that was right. Jerome Bettis, Junior Seau (RIP); Tim Brown and Will Shields are in as well.

Tomorrow is the Super Bowl and it seems from what I have seen its New England by a hair. The cat hates rain, I can't stop it my cat, you just have to wait to go out until it stops.

I'll likely only hit 10K today, I was going to rest it today because I am a little tired but maybe tomorrow instead. Wed, 14 Jan 2015 00:56:22 EST CONGRATS to The Ohio State University Football CHAMPS~ They outplayed Oregon, even with 4 turnovers. Oregon had too many penalties and dropped passes. Amazing game! They should be very proud of themselves. Urban Meyer has always been a fabulous football coach. He thought they were a year away from wining a title, lol! They beat Alabama and Oregon to attain such a wonderful achievement. A lot of their players are freshman and sophomores so if they can stay injury free they have a good chance to do it again.

The Broncos parted ways with ...
