I definitely felt like my legs were tree trunks for a couple of the moves but I just did the best I could and kept moving.

Tomorrow is a super busy day and I'm not sure where I am going to fit in my Insanity but I am determined to keep going so I will find a way. It's nice to feel muscles aching again. Tue, 5 Feb 2013 21:27:29 EST Insanity Workout http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5237602 My back has been feeling much better lately so I have started exercising again. Today I tried the Day 1 Insanity workout. It has been a loooong time since I did cardio to that extent and it was only the first day, I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring. Mon, 4 Feb 2013 18:30:30 EST Contemplating Fitbit One http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5192341 I have been thinking about the Fitbit One. Anyone have any thoughts on the product? I'm really interested in the sleep tracking function. Sat, 5 Jan 2013 22:42:18 EST Staying on track! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5125158 I have had a few lapses since I started starting over but I am back on track and working on "mindful eating" and making a conscious decision about the food I am putting in my body. As I type it is taking all I have not to run over to the counter a few feet from desk at work and grab a handful of caramel corn. Instead, I will get my fix from some crunchy celery dipped in a sweet FF raspberry viniagrette. Hope that does the trick! Mon, 5 Nov 2012 16:57:21 EST Starting over again...again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5116105 Currently at my heaviest weight (outside of pregnancy).

I went to see a dietician last week, she started me on a healthy eating plan. I am doing PT for a lower back muscle strain, hopefully I can start exercising soon. 29 Sun, 28 Oct 2012 21:58:26 EST My new best friend! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2910918 I finally got my elliptical!!! My hubby and daughter put it together for me the other day and I love, love, love it! It is so nice to hop on after the kids go to bed and work out when it is relaxing and convenient for me- not just when I can squeeze it in.

I'm excited for my weigh in at the end of the week to see how much difference exercise makes! Sun, 21 Feb 2010 22:13:48 EST Excited to exercise! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2892951 Winter sucks and I have no time to go to a gym...so I'm going to go buy myself an elliptical today! I can't wait to just be able to jump on and get my cardio in whenever I want!

I can't wait to see the pounds shed once I start moving more! Wed, 17 Feb 2010 11:46:27 EST Bloated & disgusting http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2850258 That's the way I feel right now. I had a really good weigh in yesterday but tonight I feel like I blew it. My friend invited my husband and I out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and I planned ahead, picked out the sensible menu item by looking at the menu online, but when we got there....BAM...out the window. First I had the white roll with cinnamon butter, oh so delicious. Then my friend ordered loaded fries and of course I had to try a couple of those. Healthy salad. The planned sirloin kabob... Sat, 6 Feb 2010 22:12:34 EST On the bright side... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2820808 I weighed myself this morning and sadly I was right where I was last week. But I guess that's good since I cheated with pizza and wings the other night followed yesterday by a trip to the chinese buffet (again I skipped all fried dishes).

I bought myself a new pedometer yesterday so I can keep track of my steps and hopefully stay motivated to keep moving.

Bright and sunny here today (even if it is still 25 degrees) so I may bundle up and take a walk outside. Sun, 31 Jan 2010 13:38:42 EST Chugging along... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2807126 Nothing special to report. Feeling good about the changes I have been making for my family and I...avoiding processed foods whenever possible. I made stir fry with brown rice last night and the kids loved it, they enjoy the steel cut oats and there hasn't been soda in the house for weeks.

I have my second weigh-in for the Biggest Loser at work on Friday, hoping I didn't gain because it will cost me a dollar (and quite possibly my sanity).

Any hoo....have a good night! Wed, 27 Jan 2010 23:59:58 EST A new week... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2790696 Tomorrow begins week three of my soda free life, it really hasn't become any easier but I refuse to give up on that streak. I'm on to the next stage and will work on measuring portions this week. And my goal yet again is to get more exercise, just gotta do it. Sun, 24 Jan 2010 18:24:49 EST A low moment... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2783503 I reached a low point today but I think I am going to make it. I work at a hotel that provides valet parking, as I was assisting the bellstand I noticed a Snickers bar in the side door pocket of a guest's car...it was open...there was a fleeting moment where I thought I could just snag a chunk and no one would know. Gross! Anyway, the need was sparked...I had to have chocolate. Luckily for me I had a very good day and was still under all my nutritional goals and even luckier that my co-worker... Fri, 22 Jan 2010 20:32:32 EST Back on top of things http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2781984 I feel great after finally getting in some cardio today! I'm back on track with the food tracking and going for the first "Biggest Loser" weigh in at work today. Goal for the upcoming week...get under the 150 mark (even if it is 149.5). Fri, 22 Jan 2010 13:07:21 EST Feels like I'm slipping http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2776127 I have had a hectic week and haven't had much time for food tracking so unfortunately I feel like I have cheated a little on my diet. It's much easier to sneak a bite of something if you aren't going to track it. I definitely haven't been diligent about my water intake either. I just checked out mobile Spark People on my phone and there is no excuse to skip my food tracking anymore! My workplace is starting a "Biggest Loser" contest so I am going to join and have one more motivation to stay o... Thu, 21 Jan 2010 09:09:12 EST On to week 2.... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2759887 I had a great weigh in today and although I know it's all water weight, I feel like I'm on the right track. I did have a moment of weakness this evening where I had one of those "oh my god, I need something to shove in my mouth right now. salty and sweet and let me wash it down with bubbles!" . But I made it through without hunting down a box of chocolate covered caramel popcorn and a mountain dew.

Steel cut oats are in the crock pot for the morning and celery sticks and humus are... Sun, 17 Jan 2010 23:51:11 EST Chinese Food? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2753585 So I am meeting up with some friends tonight and they chose a chinese buffet for dinner (kid friendly) and I'm a little scared. I'm scared because I'm only a week into this challenge I've taken on and because tomorrow is my first weekly weigh in. I have set goals of not eating anything deep fried which should help the fat intake and to only visit the line once. Wish me luck! Sat, 16 Jan 2010 13:23:33 EST Weigh in peek http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2748885 So it hasn't been a week but I peeked at the scale this morning and got a jolt of motivation! I know
I can keep doing this. I had a snack attack last night but satisfied it with honey nut cheerios with banana and skim milk instead of ice cream. Feeling good! Fri, 15 Jan 2010 10:26:46 EST On the right track... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2743918 I have made it three full days without so much as one sip of soda which I do believe is a record for me. Feeling good about that and my water intake. Not feeling so good about the fact that I have not made any time for exercise this week but today is the day! Thu, 14 Jan 2010 09:52:18 EST Day One- No Bubbles http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2732195 I have made it through the day with not even one sip of soda! I was in the bathroom alot more from all the water but I guess that's a good thing. Tomorrow- burning calories! Mon, 11 Jan 2010 23:04:56 EST
