I'm tired and feeling my exercise but it is a happy tired and feeling my exercise. I'm finally back in action! I have a LONG way to go but this was step one in a huge series... Sun, 23 Nov 2014 17:23:43 EST A little down but not out! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5764245 So my hysterectomy has been scheduled for October 2, which is months after we had hoped it would be set for and completed. This means several things, but the biggest is that I will not, now, be able to participate in the 1/2 marathon I signed up for that takes place on December 7th. I'm quite disappointed because I've been excited all year about participating in this. I have to see if the organizing group will allow me to transfer my registration from the 2014 event to the 2015 event. If so t... Thu, 21 Aug 2014 12:12:40 EST A little date with my 21 year-old daughter http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5742741 Last night my daughter and I went out for a little girl time. It was fun and I was proud of her and how I actually looked. I'm glad that we did it because you never know what life will bring. In the words of my grandmother, 'Live your life to the fullest because tomorrow is not guaranteed.' So I am working on doing that a little more every day.

Sun, 20 Jul 2014 13:40:14 EST Upcoming procedures http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5736093 My health hasn't been the most wonderful thing of late and now we are looking at surgery to fix the issues. On this coming Tuesday, 7/15, I'll be undergoing a hysteroscopy and D&C to biopsy my uterine lining to see if the suspicion of adenomyosis is correct (though in truth they won't be able to determine that 100% for certain until the uterus is removed completely) of it there is something more insidious lurking such as cancer or even something pre-cancerous. This procedure will determine if... Thu, 10 Jul 2014 13:45:23 EST Challenging myself http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5546044 It has been a long time since I really challenged myself. Right now I'm so busy doing craft stuff that I haven't really challenged myself physically. Since I am part of a challenge for San Antonio Spark I figured I needed to rise up to meet that challenge. So I'm putting forth the challenge to myself to reach for those goals and find in my own being what I need to do it! So there you go. Wed, 20 Nov 2013 10:52:10 EST Crafting http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5542737 Right now my crafting is taking the place of my exercise. I know I need to work on that big time because I need my exercise as well. For now, though, I have a ton of items to make and have ready for the big show I'm in on December 7th so everything else will just have to get tossed in when I can tear myself away from the crafting. Sat, 16 Nov 2013 14:15:44 EST First 5k since 2009 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5498736 Today I participated in my first 5k other than Walk MS since 2009. The funny thing is the last one I did in November 2009 was the Break the Silence 5k for ovarian cancer and today I did the same event - Break the Silence 5k. Today I was not alone, it was myself and little Sophia. She rode in her jogging stroller while I pushed her. This event was not like most of my 5k events - it was completely filled with hills and pushing a 20 pound stroller (filled with stuff) and a 26+ pound 2 year-old i... Sat, 28 Sep 2013 18:12:49 EST Barium = weight loss? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5492113 So it seems that barium and my body react very interestingly. I have been cleaned out, literally, for over 36 hours, not the normal reaction it would seem. In this process I've dropped from 157 on Tuesday (which was up 2 pounds from a week or so ago) to 153! Weight loss right now is weight loss so I'll take it. I'm trying to get to 150 by my birthday so that means now only 3 pounds. I have a big 5k this coming weekend so that will help, since I will be doing at least 4 days of walking to prep... Sat, 21 Sep 2013 17:47:53 EST 10 pounds http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5489457 Who would have thought 10 pounds would mean that much? Yesterday I went to visit with our general practice clinic due to some kidney pain and continued abdominal pain (since June 5, 2012 even post surgery to 'fix' it) and when I was weighed I was exactly 10 pounds lighter than when I had been there in March of this year. That isn't a huge deal but it meant going from overweight to normal on the BMI chart, going from a 10/12 pants to comfortably being in a size 8, and having the nurse who alwa... Wed, 18 Sep 2013 16:14:41 EST So many firsts! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5458691 In the last 7 days we have had so many firsts! A week ago we had a huge fundraiser for Sophia's upcoming and previous medical procedures which was a great success. That day she got to ride on the huge fire rescue truck (a first for not only her but mommy and daddy), a pony, and just be herself. Then on Friday while we were at Sea World/Aquatica after her swim lessons we got to get in and interact with stingrays! This was a first for not only her but big sister Kat and mommy!

We ha... Sun, 18 Aug 2013 08:54:11 EST The bugaboo in my ear http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5428281 I was talking to a dear friend yesterday and realized that I have what my grandma would call a bugaboo in my ear. In otherwords I have something I can't let go of and I need to do so. I have this lack of motivation that comes and goes. One week it is all 'yahoo let's go' and the next it is 'why am I even going to bother?' So in order to get that bugaboo gone I need to find ways to self motivate that don't require a LOT of time. With the upcoming fundraiser, making necklaces for an order for m... Sun, 21 Jul 2013 13:23:31 EST Another pound bites the dust! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5423564 I have seen yet another pound bite the dust. I'm on my way to that first mini goal and I am NOT looking back. Even with tonight having pizza I ate sparingly and enjoyed some yummy sweet watermelon for dessert. :) I'm back to my old eating habits for the most part, which is good. Eating anything I want but remembering to eat less of whatever it is. I lost the majority of the weight I did lose before getting pregnant with Sophia this way. I'm not getting any younger but I intend to keep getting... Tue, 16 Jul 2013 22:40:20 EST Oh yeah! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5416731
This little number made my day today! Usually post period I have 5 pounds to try to lose all over again. This month I only gained one and within a day I had gone back to original weight. This morning, after stopping last night, I have actually lost another pound! This means I only have 4 more pounds to go to reach my first mini goal of 155! I'm doing the happy dance! Singing a happy song. Ready to get moving along! Wed, 10 Jul 2013 12:34:03 EST Sunday Funday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5413327 I think I want to try to figure out how to make today a Sunday Funday for Sophia, my hubby and me. I don't know what to do. My oldest is over at my parents' helping my mom with cleaning out stuff that she has kept at their house since birth, basically. My mom is running out of room! My hubby is never much for doing stuff away from home but his mom is about to move from Cali to Texas and I know he won't get away with that for long. I guess I want to ease him into it.

I noticed Frid... Sun, 7 Jul 2013 14:39:23 EST Ucky tummy GO AWAY! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5410715 Don't come back another day! Some days I really hate being female but last night really almost took the cake. I was rudely awakened at 2 this morning with cramps that I thought were female issues. It turned out to be stomach issues that kept me up for over an hour! 46 I really hate when that happens. So far all I've had today is a triple berry yogurt smoothie I made to try to calm down my messed up stomach. I had really intended a lot more today as my hubby is off work for July 4... Thu, 4 Jul 2013 14:29:56 EST Need to remotivate myself this week http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5409536 Last week I was all gung ho and this week I can barely move my bootie before noon even though I'm up hours before that. I know part of my problem is female issues but still I have to be consistent. At least I'm eating more consistently than I had been for ages.

I'm also trying to get Sophia's fundraiser completely planned. It is just over a month away and I'm struggling to get things going. I know it is partly because it IS over a month away but I cannot put it off. We need to be ... Wed, 3 Jul 2013 10:55:26 EST Kicking butt and taking names! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5404873 Not going to even begin to attempt to calculate miles/workout today but we started at 8 this morning with Sophia's swim lesson which she rocked at! Then from 10 until almost 4 we were at Aquatica up and down a billion steps, walking all over to go to a billion different spots, carrying Sophia when the cement got too hot, squatting in water less than 2' deep to play with her, and otherwise being completely and insanely active. I wore a bathing suit today I have not been able to get on since pr... Fri, 28 Jun 2013 19:02:01 EST Back in the saddle begins in earnest! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5402354 This morning we got up, got dressed, and walked! It was Sophia, Kathryn and me out in the already warm weather. The goal was to try to get Sophia to be hungry because she hasn't been wanting to eat much since she has been on the Prednisone, but also we want to get back in shape as a family. It has been an eye opener to me that we've become complacent and well that is not something I'm good at accepting. Every day we will do some sort of workout routine. Day before yesterday I went out to map ... Wed, 26 Jun 2013 11:36:46 EST Our rainy Saturday training ;) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4744779 So Neal (PositiveOne), Teresa (Oldschooler), Leslie (LMTorres), and I turned up at McAlister Park for our training for the San Antonio 1/2 Sparkathon (13.1 miles). Not only did we brave the weather, low water crossings, and craziness BUT we actually played rescuers! There was also a 5k to support those who are victims of domestic violence and due to the rain (about 1" per hour btw) the parking areas were total mud! This one poor truck with two girls in it was fairly hopelessly stuck. So we he... Sat, 18 Feb 2012 12:38:03 EST It only took 7 days but... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4697214 I finally dropped another pound! I sat at 167 for a full 7 days before yesterday finally seeing 166 on the scale. That made my day! I was 166 again today so that means I'm not jumping up and down on the scale...it is moving DOWN which is the right direction. Today I got 31 minutes of Wii Sport exercise in. Tomorrow I have a plan for trying Zumba again. Tuesday I'm going to HAVE to do something very active as I have a problem to deal with that evening. Wednesday I have nothing set in stone for... Sun, 22 Jan 2012 16:33:09 EST Has made it 15 days with the new goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4680299 I've successfully kept off 2 pounds and that is a step in the right direction. I've got a LOT more to do and I know it. I'm already seeing some toning because I'm doing what is called sports specific training on my Wii Sport. The weight isn't coming off quickly but I'm seeing toning. I am ready to get back to playing tennis but since I don't have anyone to play against right now I'm sticking with my Wii Sport. I'm getting my swing back though! That is a great feeling. I used to play in high s... Sat, 14 Jan 2012 13:51:41 EST 11 days in and still going strong! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4673911 Today is 11 days into 2012 and I'm still going strong! Today we did a 2.14 mile walk in the gorgeous winter weather. My goal by next week is to be back up to 5k distances regularly. I have a series of 5k events I'm looking forward to doing in March and April. Today is the longest I've done in months. I KNOW I can do it. I WILL do it! Let's kick 2012 bootie!

216 Wed, 11 Jan 2012 13:07:18 EST First exercise OOPS of 2012 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4666329 Well trying to start on my first real venture into my Zumba videos today led to me stepping on Sophia's little foot. OY! She is refusing to go down for her nap so I let her walk around while I was trying to get started. She silently came up behind me and just as I did a step back I came right down on her little foot and knocked her down. Poor little bugger! :( I felt SO bad. Now she is still fighting going down for a nap but in her crib. I hope she goes down soon so I can get back in there to... Sun, 8 Jan 2012 14:25:47 EST Day 7 of 2012 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4663871 So I've survived 7 days into 2012. I've been pretty consistent moving and I need to keep doing it. Last night I went to a concert with my friend for the first time out in a year. I was really good, I had only one drink! I danced for about 45 minutes before my body gave out. Wrong shoes! However it made me realize that I miss dancing more now than I have in a LONG time! I'm going to drag out my Zumba tapes and work on learning how to do this. I cannot afford to go back to Jazzercise so I have ... Sat, 7 Jan 2012 11:31:35 EST 4 days in to the New Year and so far... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4657182 I have only missed one day with doing official exercise. I joined the January challenge but I know that I cannot commit right now to specific set exercises. I have to exercise when and how I can when Sophia lets me. I took a day off and yet I chased a little walker all over the mall because she was wanting to walk on her own. My hubby now understands the desire to put the kiddos on a little leash/harness. She is SO active! Today I haven't even begun to exercise but I'm working on getting out ... Wed, 4 Jan 2012 14:37:15 EST Back on the wagon http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4646441 I hate saying this but I have not been on the wagon for a long while now. It is only MY fault, I have no one and nothing else to blame. Yesterday Sophia helped me with a strength training workout and today she and I went on a walk up at the university. I have a simple goal - to get fit and healthy, have both of my girls together again, get my family to stay fit and healthy and have a great 2012. I think I am going to pull my favorite suit out of the storage chest and hang it somewhere I can s... Sat, 31 Dec 2011 12:10:23 EST Project http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4406896 So little Sophia has decided to learn to stand in her crib. While this may not sound like a big deal it is. The beautiful crib we are borrowing from family only goes down to halfway down the crib which means when standing if she leaned forward she would go headfirst onto the floor. So we have 'rescued' this crib from the people across the street from my parents and I'm spending time sanding and painting it. It is an old-fashioned looking crib with spindles for rails. It has been my workout fo... Thu, 4 Aug 2011 13:06:01 EST Guess who won the weight loss challenge??? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4374587 That's right! ME! I lost 4.2 pounds to my hubby's 1.6 pounds. Since then I've lost another 2 pounds! I got my portion control UNDER control and I've been exercising when I can. I realized that my hubby has to be around (or someone has to be around) for me to do the strength training portion of my exercise because Sophia is too mobile now for me to do it any other way. Someone has to be around to watch her and what she is getting into! I'm just happy that I'm on my way back to my goal!
<... Wed, 20 Jul 2011 10:37:15 EST Day 3 and 4 of hubby vs. wife weight loss challenge http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4363661 Yesterday was too busy for me to post so I'm doing it now before I head to bed. Kat and I went to my first Mary Kay meeting in over 10 years! It was awesome to be back and know that I'm working toward a new career that I could have had all of these years but now is the time. When Kat moves back she will be joining my team. :)

So since we started this challenge on Sunday I've dropped from 171.4 to 166.6! That is a great feeling! I am looking forward to seeing how much I lose between... Fri, 15 Jul 2011 00:18:39 EST Day 2 of the hubby vs. wife challenge http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4358208 So this morning I get on the scale and I've already lost 4.4 pounds. :) I have gone from 171.4 to 168. Amazing what a little competition will do. Sophie, Kat and I went on the same walk route Sophie and I did yesterday. I think tomorrow we are going to stay indoors and try some Zumba. :) I have the videos and just never have used them. I am bound and determined to lose weight and get BACK in shape! My body hates me being this heavy and I agree with it. So here we go! Tue, 12 Jul 2011 14:52:25 EST Week long weight loss challenge - hubby vs. wife http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4356754 So my hubby and I are in a week long weight loss challenge. We weighed in last night and he started at 209 lbs and I started at 171 lbs. I have put back on about 16 lbs that I had lost from having Sophie while I was able to breastfeed. Today I did a 1.06 mile walk (according to the pedometer) while pushing Sophie in her jogging stroller. Tonight for dinner I made homemade hamburgers on the George Foreman and fresh corn on the cob. :) I am praying that I kick some hubby bootie! I don't have a ... Mon, 11 Jul 2011 23:09:50 EST Recommitted and re-energized! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4238919 After 6 months of not doing what I need to do to get back to being healthy and in shape I've recommitted myself and I'm re-energized to making it happen! Today Sophie and I went to Woodlawn Lake for a 2.6 mile walk (that is 2 times around the lake). It is the first step in the LONG process of getting my body and health back. Sophie is going to have to put up with me doing it. *smirk* Walk or do the bike trainer one day then the next day do strength training. That is my goal for now. It is so ... Tue, 17 May 2011 14:09:13 EST Too long since my last entry http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4104963 So I am sitting here thinking about life. I hate my body and my weight again but I know that it is all in my hands to fix it. It is now pretty outside most of the time so I am going to have to get moving again. Sophie likes riding in her stroller so I will use that to help with the working out. However, I am debating looking for a used jogging stroller for walks. After the (successful) Walk MS 5k and my hands killing me using the regular stroller I know no matter what I have to use my cycling... Sun, 20 Mar 2011 14:10:20 EST Challenging myself http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3978857 Since Sophie was born I've promised myself I would get all of the weight off and right away I lost 20 pounds. Then I had to quit breastfeeding so I hit a plateau. SO now I'm challenging myself. Between now and 3/5 I want to lose 10 pounds. That will still leave between 15-17 pounds to hit my pre-pregnancy weight. I have NO clothes that are comfortable because I made it a point to get rid of the old heavy clothes a year ago so I'm squeezing into clothes I hate and clothes that don't fit right.... Mon, 31 Jan 2011 22:19:06 EST Sophie is 2 months old! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3886830 I've not been able to get on long enough to post a blog entry in a while so here goes a new one. Sophie is now 2 months 2 weeks old (tomorrow). She was baptized on 12/26/10 at exactly 2 months. She and her big sister Kat are so very close and when Kat is home we have to fight her to get her to give up holding Sophie. They are so cute together! I've got a doctor's order to get at least 1 hour of toning exercise a day but it has been very hard to do it because Sophie has been fussy - she is alr... Mon, 3 Jan 2011 23:52:34 EST Finally started back http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3840637 I finally got my butt on the ball today - literally! I haven't been doing my exercises since I had Sophie but today I did. I pulled my balance ball over to the open space by the TV and with Sophie and my hubby snuggled up on the couch for a bit I did crunches, reverse crunches, then on the pilates mat I did modified push ups, more reverse crunches (different style), leg lifts, and then holding Sophie I did bicep curls. I am feeling it right now for sure since it has been MONTHS since I did an... Mon, 13 Dec 2010 01:35:56 EST Growing like a weed - 6 weeks of Sophie! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3834952 I measured and weighed Sophie today. In one week she has grown again! This week she is now 9 lbs 14 oz and 21 1/2" long! Last week she was 9 lbs 4 oz and 20" long. :) That is a 10 oz and 1 1/2" increase. What a little weed I have! Now to get ME back into exercise so I can get back into shape. It has been a real problem for me because Sophie has been refusing to nap during the day and in order for me to really get a good workout in I need my entire body free. *giggle* We shall see how things g... Thu, 9 Dec 2010 19:15:44 EST Sophie is 5 weeks old! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3817497 AND I'm now cleared again for light exercise. I finally finished the antibiotics for mastitis and a staph/strep infection of my left nipple. It meant I could no longer breastfeed, which means I now really have to work to get my body back. We just got a new TV because our original TV died the day after Kat got home for Thanksgiving. That means I can now use my videos & DVD exercises. Yesterday I made it through just about a mile or so in a walk before the wind got so bad I had to head home to ... Wed, 1 Dec 2010 16:34:52 EST 3 weeks in :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3795962 Sophia is now 3 + weeks old. She has grown and is just a beautiful angel. Things have been moving along smoothly overall. I've not been in the best of health - getting both mastitis and a combined staph and strep infection in the nipple. Other than that we are totally in love with our little Sophie girl! Here are a couple more pictures of her. :)

Sophia with 2 of big sister Kat's Build-A-Bear kitties.
<B... Sat, 20 Nov 2010 14:04:44 EST Introducing Sophia Marie :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3765293 I know I've been promising to post this but I've been a little busy. *smirk* Imagine that. So here is the update about our new little Sophia.

She was born at 2:16 pm CT on 10/26/10. She weighed 6lbs 8.7oz and was 18 3/4" long. She was a completely natural birth with no complications at all. We are still getting settled in.

Here are some pictures of our little angel - Sophia!

<img src="... Fri, 5 Nov 2010 23:58:30 EST 39 weeks already http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3736694 Yesterday started week 39. I spent the day with random, inconsistent 'cramp' contractions all day long. I slept last night and they went away. I had two more this morning and then nothing since then. My hubby is now ready to go though he would prefer not to have her today as today was his father's birthday but if she came we are prepared and ready. I'm getting anxious now to meet her. So close! My parents are on high alert. We've started the constant emails and phone calls asking if she is he... Sun, 24 Oct 2010 12:47:06 EST 38 weeks - yowza! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3721241 Okay so I'm 38 weeks 1 day along today. I'm hoping beyond hope that Sophie holds on until next weekend at the earliest! My hubby will be in Laredo for work for a few days this week. Plus I just really want a Scorpio baby! *smirk* Bad I know but that means there would be two of us in the house. *giggle* She is going to be a blessing no matter what but still - just would make Mommy's day!

I have to make a t-shirt for my oldest in the next couple of weeks. Sun, 17 Oct 2010 16:40:12 EST Picture of Sophia Marie - ultrasound at 37 weeks 2 days http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3717489 Just wanted to post this because it is probably the last ultrasound we'll get and the first time she has turned her face towards the probe. She is just adorable and to me really looks like her big sis!

Sophia Marie Fri, 15 Oct 2010 14:32:51 EST 37 weeks - the real countdown begins http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3706133 While I know that I don't want to go any time soon the truth of the matter is that we are in the real countdown now. I'm 37 weeks 1 day today and everyone I know is freaking out that I'm still up, moving, working at the spaghetti dinner behind the bar, bending over, standing up, you name it. Perhaps they would prefer if I just laid down and played dead but I'm not that type of person. I don't LIKE to be still for long periods of time. I plan to be ME until I am actually delivering. It is one ... Sun, 10 Oct 2010 20:01:20 EST 36 weeks - just wait until 39 weeks at least little one! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3686821 Well, I'm officially 36 weeks along right now. My major accomplishment for the week is I shaved my legs and did my toenails. How weird for me that I can't just pretzel up right now to do those things like I am used to. While I'm not HUGE by any stretch of the imagination - this little bump in the middle of me makes it very hard to get to things I'm used to getting to!

This weekend we will be attending the wedding of a dear friend. I am just pleased as punch that she has finally fo... Sat, 2 Oct 2010 11:58:51 EST 35 weeks - 5 to go! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3669460 This morning I woke up to the realization that at 35 weeks my doctor's office won't stop labor if I were to start today. They told me that usually at 35 weeks they will monitor you and if you don't progress they will just send you home. At 37+ weeks they will keep you even if you don't progress - at least for over night if not for a full day. Finally at 38 to 39 weeks they will 'help' if you aren't progressing. I'm a little unnerved by all of this because I would want them to just have me sto... Sat, 25 Sep 2010 12:17:12 EST 34 weeks http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3655074 We are at 34 weeks now. I had a fetal growth ultrasound today. We have growth - even if it did slow down a little bit. She is now 4lbs 11oz. She is super active. That is what matters. Now to find ways to pay for things that need to be paid for. I wish I could get people wanting to purchase more of my crafts but I can't afford to get on a site like Etsy - who wants you to pay them for stuff - because I can't afford to put money out to get clients right now! I just have to keep praying that thi... Mon, 20 Sep 2010 14:23:48 EST Week 33 - lots going on http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3634177 Saturday started week 33 of this little pregnancy trip. Saturday morning there was a 'surprise' baby shower for me. It was just lovely! I saw people I've not seen in a long while and that just made my heart swell. Yesterday was the church spaghetti dinner. My hubby and I worked the upstairs bar and had a blast. We were beat and ready to relax when we came home but that was fine. This week I've got my maternity photo shoot that I'm doing (Wednesday) and then a few little things here and there.... Mon, 13 Sep 2010 14:43:21 EST 32 weeks and fighting to get my daughter here http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3606439 Today makes us 32 weeks along. I had a wonderful appointment with my secondary doc yesterday. (Meaning that if my primary resident who I work with is still out on vacation when I go into labor this will be the person who delivers me.) She is WONDERFUL! Just like the primary. We loved her bedside manner and her way with just making everything okay - plus listening intently to what I had to say. Everything is great for the health of the baby and mom!

Now to my insanity! My daughter'... Sat, 4 Sep 2010 12:16:41 EST 31 weeks http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3583194 Today makes 31 weeks pregnant. It has been a long ride and still have more to go - 9 more weeks to be exact! I have been trying to figure out what all I need to do still - though now that the house is moved around there is really less to do than I thought. We have 2 more showers coming up in September - one the 11th and one the 25th. Still don't have times or places for either but that is okay. *giggle* We have most of the big items already so that is not a problem any longer. We just need cl... Sat, 28 Aug 2010 13:28:19 EST
