I plan to take Wednesdays and Sundays off because they are such busy days. I am also eating between 1200 to 1500 calories a day so that will help with losing the weight. I am already feeling better because of exercising and eating right. This time I want to lose the weight for good, and keep it off and be in the best shape I have ever been! I have come to the realization that I just don't feel good when I don't get my exercise in. I feel sluggish and tired all day long. But when I do get up and exercise, no matter how tired I am when that alarm goes off, I feel much better afterwards. It is worth giving up a few minutes of sleep. I have been having a rough time lately with the scale. I have been eating right and exercising like I should and the scale just doesn't want to budge. Fri, 11 May 2012 08:07:09 EST Took today's workout a bit slower... I decided today not to jog because I jogged yesterday and my shins were a little sore before I even started. I am glad I didn't jog because I don't want to injure my shins and not be able to workout at all. If the shins are feeling better tomorrow I will be back to jogging! However, I am committing to finishing this journey. I have not come this far to give up. Quitting at over halfway done is not going to happen. Just found out that my husband is most likely leaving out tonight or tomorrow morning to see his dad in D.C. His dad had a heart attack last night and had surgery this morning. Double bypass surgery. It is going to be a great feeling! Sun, 1 Apr 2012 23:42:06 EST Week 2 Day 1 of 5K Your Way workouts Tonight's workout really pushed me hard. I thought jogging for 1.5 minutes at a time wasn't going to be too hard. WRONG! It really pushed me. At the beginning I didn't know if I would finish or not. But, I kept pushing on. Even when my body told me to stop I kept going. And I felt so good after I completed it. It just goes to show we can do more than we feel we can do. We have to push past the uncomfortable stage and really work hard if we want to see results. Sat, 31 Mar 2012 21:58:12 EST Small Goals I have caught myself thinking a lot lately of my end goal of weighing 130 lbs and looking great in a swimsuit and being healthy. I have also been discouraged a lot more lately than I was before because of focusing on the long term too much. As of today I am going back to focusing on small goals. 5 lbs lost, jogging so many minutes in a row, not hurting as bad after I jog, eating right daily. No more beating myself up if I get off track. Sometimes I just want to throw my hands up and give up. But as I was debating doing that I thought about the exercise I did yesterday and the exercise I have been doing lately and realized that if I am that easy to give up on dealing with a child, then how easy am I going to give up on exercise when it gets hard or difficult?
