I plan to take Wednesdays and Sundays off because they are such busy days. I am also eating between 1200 to 1500 calories a day so that will help with losing the weight. I am already feeling better because of exercising and eating right. This time I want to lose the weight for good, and keep it off and be in the best shape I have ever been! Wed, 27 Feb 2013 12:35:15 EST It is time to get healthy again... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5263981 I am frustrated with myself because I let myself gain some weight back. On a brighter note, I have not gained all the weight back. Here is to a new start. I did it one time, I can do it again! 381 Mon, 25 Feb 2013 21:34:20 EST Feeling good! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4882080 I have come to the realization that I just don't feel good when I don't get my exercise in. I feel sluggish and tired all day long. But when I do get up and exercise, no matter how tired I am when that alarm goes off, I feel much better afterwards. It is worth giving up a few minutes of sleep. Plus, the more we exercise, the stronger and healthier we are. 312 Tue, 15 May 2012 07:31:54 EST Finally I have broke the plateau! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4880361 I am so excited- I finally broke the longest plateau I have ever had. I weighed in at 179.4 this morning! Can't wait to lose the next 5 pounds because it will put me in the 'overweight' category and out of the obese category! 244 Mon, 14 May 2012 07:54:54 EST May 9, 2012- I can see progress, other than on the scale! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4876641 I have been having a rough time lately with the scale. I have been eating right and exercising like I should and the scale just doesn't want to budge. I am stuck right at 180 and can't get below it.

I was thinking about this while cleaning the house and getting ready to leave to run errands yesterday morning. I walked into my bathroom to get changed as I usually do. I looked in the mirror and I was surprised at what I saw. My hips were actually looking smaller. So I turned to the ... Fri, 11 May 2012 08:07:09 EST Took today's workout a bit slower... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4871798 I decided today not to jog because I jogged yesterday and my shins were a little sore before I even started. I am glad I didn't jog because I don't want to injure my shins and not be able to workout at all. If the shins are feeling better tomorrow I will be back to jogging! Hope everyone is having a good day! Tue, 8 May 2012 08:05:49 EST Getting Back on Track http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4870164 I have been off track for a while- I was burned out and tired. However, I am committing to finishing this journey. I have not come this far to give up. Quitting at over halfway done is not going to happen. I must stay the course.

To stay on course I am going to make sure I get enough rest and drink my water everyday. I notice when I don't get enough rest I generally don't 'feel good' for a few days. But once I get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night consistently for about a week, I star... Mon, 7 May 2012 09:40:39 EST Busy Week Ahead http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4816993 This is going to be a busy week. It is Spring Break for our kids and our son is having surgery Wednesday. Just found out that my husband is most likely leaving out tonight or tomorrow morning to see his dad in D.C. His dad had a heart attack last night and had surgery this morning. Double bypass surgery. The doctors are very confident that he will recover quickly. Wish I could go with my husband but cannot, due to the surgery on Wednesday. But I must stay on track with exercise at the same t... Mon, 2 Apr 2012 14:33:23 EST Can't wait! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4815924 I cannot wait until tomorrow's jog. The more and more I jog the more and more addicted to it I become. I can't wait until I am jogging the entire time. It is going to be a great feeling! Sun, 1 Apr 2012 23:42:06 EST Week 2 Day 1 of 5K Your Way workouts http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4814179 Tonight's workout really pushed me hard. I thought jogging for 1.5 minutes at a time wasn't going to be too hard. WRONG! It really pushed me. At the beginning I didn't know if I would finish or not. But, I kept pushing on. Even when my body told me to stop I kept going. And I felt so good after I completed it. It just goes to show we can do more than we feel we can do. We have to push past the uncomfortable stage and really work hard if we want to see results. Sat, 31 Mar 2012 21:58:12 EST Small Goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4811870 I have caught myself thinking a lot lately of my end goal of weighing 130 lbs and looking great in a swimsuit and being healthy. I have also been discouraged a lot more lately than I was before because of focusing on the long term too much. As of today I am going back to focusing on small goals. 5 lbs lost, jogging so many minutes in a row, not hurting as bad after I jog, eating right daily. No more beating myself up if I get off track. Just jump right back on the train to 'healthyville'. <... Fri, 30 Mar 2012 08:42:23 EST Staying Focused http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4810307 I looked at my calendar today and wrote a few things down. As I started to write things down I looked at this week's notes. One thing stuck out. 11 weeks. 11 weeks?? We only have 11 weeks until our family trip to Orlando??? Yikes, I must get busy. Busy planning and preparing and buying tickets. Busy making lists of stuff to do and buy for the trip. Busy exercising and eating right so that I will feel comfortable in a swimsuit. I am so excited about this trip. Our children have no clue that we... Thu, 29 Mar 2012 09:08:55 EST Stressful Day Yesterday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4809010 Yesterday was a rough day at our home. Mainly with our oldest daughter. Sometimes I just want to throw my hands up and give up. But as I was debating doing that I thought about the exercise I did yesterday and the exercise I have been doing lately and realized that if I am that easy to give up on dealing with a child, then how easy am I going to give up on exercise when it gets hard or difficult? I am determined to not give up on exercising and reaching my goals this time. I have come too far... Wed, 28 Mar 2012 12:48:29 EST Balanced Meals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4806975 One of the areas that I struggle with is making sure my meals are completely balanced. However, I did find an article on SP that is helping. Planning to makeover our weekly menus with it. Excited! Tue, 27 Mar 2012 09:35:55 EST Jogging Can Be Fun! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4806448 I never thought I would say that. I always hated the thought of jogging or running. But since I have started 5K training, I am loving it. I am progressing nicely. I have goals to meet with this program and so far I have met every goal/exceeded it. I am truly very happy. And my shins are not hurting me as bad this time. Super happy! Mon, 26 Mar 2012 22:43:50 EST
