It was a nice, sunny day but cold and very windy. This is the first run of the year. I was sad I couldn't participate yet because of my injured tendon, but it was fun to go and watch them. Jim ran a bit slower than his usual 9 minute mile. He hasn't trained much this year. Justin ran the 3.1 miles in a little over 23 minutes and placed first in his age group. I have to wear shoes all day with some heel pads, he gave me some weird kind of ultrasound treatment on my ankle and I start physical therapy on Wed., but he felt if I really take it easy, I'll be running again before the end of the month!
