I started off strong - for a little over a week, I was tracking my food and exercise. The SP Activity Tracker is certainly helping motivate me there, even if the counts are quite right. For some reason, almost every walk I do gets classified as a cycle event, so I have to reclassify, but its still motivating me. My instructor is changing things up, so the toning class is not really Zumba Toning anymore, but rather a lot more toning. It is good, and we were all feeling it the next day. The next day (Friday) I biked to work, because it was National Bike to Work Day. My friends funeral will be on Tuesday, and it's going to be at my parents church. Obviously I will not be going (HI to CT for 1 day, not worth it), but my parents are planning on attending. My friend who passed away the other day has always been symbol of where my life could have gone. I'm feeling it this morning, but I'm definitely bouncing back faster than I did the first few times I did it. <BR> <BR> This was my 11th GAR. Hard to believe I've been doing it since 2003. I had purchased a 10 class groupon a couple months back, but I hadn't yet found the time (ok - made the time) to go check it out. Finally did tonight, since the groupon needed to be activated soon. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but it ended up being similar to my usual Zumba class. Maybe not quick as intensive for as long, but it was definitely a good workout. We can't have class on the 1st Monday of the month, because the community garden club has been meeting there on the 1st Monday for years. No problem.
