Gained 2 lbs. After being hard on myself half of a beautiful weekend. I took a hard look of the week good and bad. All week at work we had all day meetings and training. There was candy on tables, take out lunches, breakfast donuts and pastries, and not much time for exercise. I did not eat the candy. I drank lots of water. I needed to walk to train for 5k this week. Goal was at least 30 minutes. I felt good and energized on walk. Ended up doing 3 miles for 1 hour. Came home got dinner ready, had lunch, and took nap to get ready for work. I was glad I was able to have long walk and still feel ok to work. In the past I usually get really wiped out. 😊🌼☀️🎽 Wed, 23 Sep 2015 09:30:10 EST 5k in my future! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5988322 My daughter signed me up for a 5k. Currently I need to lose 8 lbs to get to my 15% weight lose. First few months I chalked up to inconsistent work weeks. Then confirmations, graduations, etc. I thought I had this over the summer. But the summer has been hard. I am exercising and tracking my food. I am drinking my water. I have been losing and gaining to be considered as maintenance! Every week I am trying something different. This week I did 4 mile walking dvd and can feel it. I know I a... Wed, 12 Aug 2015 19:01:20 EST Fitbit charge http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5904096 I upgraded once again my fitbit to the next level. It seems to motivate me and works to get me off the couch. I often chuckle to myself like the bracelet is a symbol of some kind of cult. None the less it has been the best motivator for me. I have encouraged several family members and friends to get their own. We do the challenges together. My next goal is to get the HR model! 👍💞🏃 Thu, 2 Apr 2015 09:08:49 EST Joined Golden Phoenix BL Winter Freeze Off http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5824869 Joining a new challenge. Found myself and my son walking a bit faster! We took our dog out because shepherds love this kind of weather. We were out walking our dog because we were chilled. It did make walk go faster and increased our walk time. So were know now what we are made of. 338 452 Happy Spring! Hotel and work location about a half mile. I have walking eaoch way provided it is not raining. I am trying to be more active. I have been using my fitbit to calculate my steps. This is a big deal for me to do this because I don't do stuff like this to get active and also travel for work. Sat, 29 Dec 2012 11:22:12 EST Got on scale at wrong time. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5057532 I made the mistake of getting on scale at the wrong time. It was at the end of day after late dinner. Not my usual weigh in time. I just wanted some validation that I was doing well on my journey. Needless to say not something I would recommend. The scale did not tell me what I wanted to see; wasn't even going in the right direction.

I was quite frustration and ready to throw in the towel. I should know better!
