My mom fell on March 8th and fractured her hip. She had surgery, and then 2 weeks of rehab. We finally felt like she was turning the corner for good when we ended back up in the hospital again. <BR> <BR> She was admitted Tuesday morning and had one scope procedure today. The results are that she has to have a surgery on Friday that will be somewhat risky due to her age and health status. She's also having an... Wed, 15 Apr 2015 20:14:51 EST Hospital - Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5890083 Mom is recovering well from surgery. She had a full day of therapists, tests, doctor visits, social worker, etc and then a well deserved rest this afternoon. I am still spending the night but will be at work tomorrow. <BR> <BR> I've managed to eat pretty well, got my steps in, and made my mom laugh when I opened up my lap top and did a 10 minute boot camp video with Coach Nicole. I did one of the old ones on you tube! That made me feel better about just sitting around the hospital room ... Mon, 9 Mar 2015 20:16:54 EST Mom in Surgery http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5889381 well this isn't planned - my mom fell down this morning. She has five stitches above her eye and now will have 3 screws in her hip. Waiting for her to get out of surgery now. Could use some spark friend well wishes and prayers. She will have an 8 week recovery. I got in 20 minutes of walking here in the hospital. Trying to get my steps in regardless.
