When I think about how long I've been alive, 34 years this coming November, 4 years feels like a short time but so much has changed.

When I started SP (2012) I was unhappy with how I looked. I was turning 30 and wanted to be 30 pounds lighter by then. That was my goal. I reached it and it was great. I felt better, I was impressed with how much I a... Tue, 28 Jun 2016 14:21:42 EST Three Years and a New Life. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5916018 There is something about February in regards to SP. I started on here on February 21st, 2012 and I was due with my first human February 20th, 2015. It was a good chance she would be born on the 21st, but alas, she made her way into the world on February 23rd.

The pregnancy was tolerable. No morning sickness but lots of swelling and I gained a LOT more than I would have liked. I started out around 140lbs and ended up at 193lbs when I was weighed at my 40 week check up. 53lbs!! Mind... Wed, 22 Apr 2015 21:21:34 EST Two years? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5634116 Apparently it has been 2 years as of February 21st that I started on SparkPeople. Crazy... 504

This last year hasn't been as successful in the weight loss/maintaining as my first. I have since gained 10 pounds in the 1.4 years since starting maintaining, which I am not proud of, but I am still trying. At first I was losing weight still while maintaining so I slowed down on the working out and upped the eating a bit but then life went crazy.

First it was mont... Wed, 26 Feb 2014 08:42:10 EST One Year! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5258397 It's amazing to think that one year ago today I was a different person. I ate well but never watched what I put in my mouth. I tried exercising from time to time but it never stuck. I was disappointed with my self because of the way my body looked. I was carrying around 40 pounds of extra that I did not need.

One year ago today I decided to take a stand and change what I knew I could. I ate better and counted what went in me so that when I worked my ass off everyday it wasn't in v... You Just put in your ingredients in the box provided with how much of each (ie: 1/2 unsweetened applesauce) and input how many servings in the recipe and it will show you how many calories per serving with a grade of how good it is for you and what, if anything, is bad about it. For example I inputted m... Thu, 7 Feb 2013 12:58:14 EST YOU are STRONG. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5168124 This thought came to me last night after a pretty bad food night and a lack of workout week.

Everyone struggles, it's part of being human. Even those who appear strong, who every day is eating right, doing their workouts without fail and look great because of it struggled to get there because no one is perfect. And even if you strive to be, at some point you will stumble and fall, but what makes a strong person truly strong is their ability to get back up after that fall and keep o... Sun, 16 Dec 2012 13:02:20 EST Jillian Michaels Help Blog. Order of DVDs, what to expect, etc. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5120054 Now I am no expert and I am sure Jillian has her own order for her DVDs but this is my take on how to get started with Jillian Michaels and what DVDs to use. There are a few DVDs of hers I have yet to try:

Killer Abs - this is her brand new one that just came out and I literally just found out about it while getting a list of her DVDs for this post.

Killer Buns & Thighs - I should probably get this as those areas are where I want to work out more... but I will see where...
