OK...half the year is gone, I have just returned from a well-deserved, much appreciated 2 week break from work, and I realize just how lazy I have been since January. Why? If I have to be truthful I think I got lazy because SP was WORKING for me! Seriously! Some of these people I haven't seen in a while so it is so nice to visit and catch up with what is going on in their lives. Enjoyed a SUPER Thanksgiving holiday with my family. Our Thanksgiving Day menu was soooo good...and actually different for us. We splurged on a boneless Heavenly Ham (they are not called "heavenly" for nothing!). I made scalloped potatoes in the crock pot (using fresh red potatoes), homemade "southern" cornbread stuffing, fresh green beans, and roasted stuffed tomatoes. I missed my entry in the beginning of the week so I will do so now. I feel my progress is going great! Honestly, I KNOW I could do better. I didn't do TOO bad with diet/exercise; could have been a LOT worse. I did a lot of walking for exercise but was hoping to do more. Must admit, without the structure of my weekdays that my eating was a little all over the place. Although I had planned a dinner in the afternoon, I ended up changing it at the last minute, but still stayed within my ranges for calories, etc. Was not anticipating how low I came out with my protein and carbs.
