I've accomplished a 5 kgoal and realize I can do anything I put my mind to. Now the 10 k is next month. I have managed to gain 5 pound since last time of course I need to clean up my diet. I joined a 30 day healthy eating challenge. This is a hard time of year to eat right but I've done it before . I just need the same mentality. Other than weight training i have been taking advantage of the gorgeous weather we have been having. A 13 mile bike ride and walks with the dogs . I have been trying heavier weights and it really is making a difference (challenged) my training. Tonight I am going to wear my heart rate monitor to see how many calories/hr i am expending. Wed, 4 Sep 2013 09:55:51 EST week 3 live fit trainer Oh my. These first three weeks have been an eye opener. I have managed to gain 4 pounds and am hopeful it is muscle gain. Jamie did state that you might feel puffy in this first phase. So it is to be expected... I am looking forward to starting the cardio in phase 2 which is only a week and a half away. I am still having issues with nutrition (poor eating habits) which I have to nip it in the bud to move forward. Time to start food journaling again! Wed, 28 Aug 2013 17:14:14 EST Another start Starting again on the live fit trainer from jamie eason/ . I am working on getting my strength back and losing inches. In a few weeks i will be incorportating cardio again and some running. I am still on for the 15K in November. It will be here soon so I am amping it up! My goal weight according to the website is 120, but I will be happy with 125-130. Haven't weighed that much in 14 years and I want it back! I want my mojo back! LOL!! I want to add that I can't wait for summer ... Wed, 21 Aug 2013 14:04:55 EST Totals for end of week 7/13 Holy cow! I went above my goal of 10 miles this week. Although I ran a total of six miles, I biked 14! I discovered the app/ website daily and I love it to total up all my activities. <BR> My goal next week is a 10k and more biking. I'm feeling strong! Yesterday was supposed to be a rest day but i did a Jillian Michael kettlebell dvd (30 min) and walked on the treadmill for 1.3 miles. Everytime i workout with JM my left knee starts to hurt from all the squats. It only hurts when i am doing the exercise. Maybe it's my form?
