Isn't it funny how you don't post for a while and then you just feel the motivation to post? I am not a journal keeper, I write well, but don't enjoy keeping a journal. The adults went to my 3 favorite wineries in Western Colorado and then back to my house to barbecue with our kids. An awesome day! <BR> <BR> Today, I went for my "50 year old well-child" check! Turning the BIG 5-0! Excited about that, but have promised myself to be in the best shape of my life by then. I'm close which is why I knew I needed more motivation, accountability and exercise. I have been doing the State of Slim since last July 7th. Lost 17 pounds in the first 4 months, gained a little back on maintenance and started again on January 26th. I have lost 9 pounds thus far. So in May, I kind of took a break from exercising because it got busy, my birthday was in there and I just didn't feel like exercising! But I did walk my 10,000 steps most every day. Then came June and I was getting my daughter ready to go to France with school, and getting ready for us to go on an extended vacation. But I maintained and stayed within the same 2 pounds. And when I was home, I was working, working, working. Today was different. My oldest had the day off from school so we took her brother to school and then went to morning Mass.
