Mon, 12 Aug 2013 19:45:39 EST Work all day tomorrow :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5452147 So tomorrow I will be off to work while my husband gets to entertain our girls. It is the first time in a long while that he will get to sleep in while I go to work and that makes me happy. I'm learning quickly at the job and am really benefiting with the great work out it provides. So if you happen to be in my store I will be the cookie/cracker girl with a huge smile on my face while I'm building a display or filling the shelves. Goodnight my Spark Friends. Sun, 11 Aug 2013 21:14:34 EST Training Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5450700 So today when my husband gets home I will leave to go to work. I'm excited because the girl that's training me sounds awesome and she is really spunky from what I have been told so I know we will get along well. Nothing like having fun at work.
I really want to start my juicing again, my husband told me I think you should juice again you seemed like you had more energy and a better mood. Why does it seem harder the second time to start then the first? Well I'll try to answer that questi... Sat, 10 Aug 2013 09:52:54 EST My Job http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5449805 So last night was my first night of training. I had a really nice guy helping me. I tried to jump in and do as much on my own , I feel I learn quicker when I just jump in verses watching. It was definitely a workout which I was happy about. We built a cookie step display which I was very proud of. It was nice coming home and my girls running up and giving me a hug. Might I add my husband had the house sparkling, Now I just have to teach him to cook. Baby steps ha ha. Hope everyone has a wonde... Fri, 9 Aug 2013 10:44:49 EST I gained 2 lbs http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5448667 I gained 2lbs and I'm ok with it. I paid the price and had a nice meal with my hubby. I picked a grilled steak over fried chicken so kudos to me there. I didn't eat my mashed potatoes, which if you know me that is my weakness. I'm back on track today and I'm not beating myself up. I started my day with weight control Quaker oats oatmeal. Today is my 1st day of my new job and I can't wait. Hope all my spark friends are having a good day. Thu, 8 Aug 2013 10:45:43 EST Anniversary Dinner http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5447625 So tonight my husband and I are going out to dinner. I honestly don't remember the last time we had a quiet evening out just the 2 of us. It might be a little quiet tonight. We have been married 3 years and together 7 and we have grown so much together. I couldn't ask for a better guy. Cheers to LOVE :) Wed, 7 Aug 2013 12:12:00 EST I start my job thursday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5446169 Thursday night I start my job. I'm going to be a merchandiser for Kellogg so I will be stocking the shelves and building displays in a nutshell, so I'm excited for the workout. Our anniversary is Thursday as well so we are going to just go out Wednesday night. I feel like you can struggle but than out of nowhere all seems right with the world. It makes me appreciate the struggle. Tue, 6 Aug 2013 08:57:00 EST Staying at current weight http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5446165 So I have been stuck at 140lbs for a couple days, which means I'm just going to have to kick it up a notch. I need to definitely stay away from the packaged food and stick with the fruits and veggies. I actually think I'm going to finish the day with my juices. I guess it could be worse and I could be gaining. What I really need to do is throw my scale out the window but I don't think I'm ready for that. Well off to the park we go. Hope everyone's is having a happy Tuesday. Tue, 6 Aug 2013 08:52:36 EST The trail from hell http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5445564 So my husband thought it would be nice to have a picnic and then do a little trail with our girls, nothing too crazy. So we started off had a beautiful view right by the water and sat on our blanket eating our lunch it was about noon time. We started our trail saw a nice pond and showed the girls the frogs and fish in the water, figured we would wrap around and come to the same pond NO WE WERE WRONG!!! An hour goes by and we are feeling it then another hour goes by and I'm making little joke... Mon, 5 Aug 2013 18:10:08 EST Getting my butt to the gym http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5445052 I have been really trying to go to the gym and burn as many calories as possible. I really need to figure out a way to stay focused, I find myself thinking what time is it? what are the girls doing? I need to get home? Are people watching my butt jiggle, omg I hope it isn't jiggling too bad, I know it sounds ridiculous but I wish I had a gym in my house. I know not one single person is even watching me and there focused on there own workout routine, but its all in my head and screws up my wor... Mon, 5 Aug 2013 09:49:23 EST Off the juice http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5444415 So I'm officially off juicing until I'm ready for the challenge again. My husband and I went grocery shopping and I loved shopping in the whole foods section. I'm going to have a field day when I go to Trader Joe's.
For breakfast I had a multigrain pancake, I added less of what it asked for and threw in a ripe banana, I used agave nectar for syrup, it was really delicious.
For lunch we went to the mall so I had a sub from Charley's the Philly chicken with mushroom, onion and gree... Sun, 4 Aug 2013 19:06:28 EST Day 7 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5442761 I brought my girls to the park today and then we danced to some zumba music. We had an overall great day. I lost another pound and now weigh 140lbs.
My goal now is to start going to the gym consistently. When I stop juicing I will slowly introduce food by having a salad with grilled chicken for lunch( I never thought that would sound so appetizing).
I'm actually nervous to stop juicing because I have been so happy with all these positive changes. I also know that I will appreciate... Fri, 2 Aug 2013 22:07:13 EST Can't wait to get measured http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5441424 I found a tracker of my measurements when I first started the gym back in October. I weighed 154lbs my hips 42 1/2 and waist 35 1/2. I'm ready to go to the gym tonight and possibly see if I can get measured. Thu, 1 Aug 2013 19:17:38 EST Day 6 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5440896 So yesterday was a little rough, I was feeling a little tired and didn't have much energy. I figured I probably need to have more juice throughout the day so my body doesn't go into starvation mode. I also did make a concoction that only consisted of fruit juice no veggies (not big on drinking veggies). I'm guessing I should have had veggies for all the extra nutrients. I woke up this morning and felt great and even lost a pound. My children are wanting more fruits and veggies which makes me... Thu, 1 Aug 2013 10:33:27 EST Day 5 (weight Results) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5439632 So today is my last day of juicing, but I decided to extend it. I figured I'm just getting started with my energy level sky rocketing and all the other perks, why stop now.
I checked my weight this morning and of course I had to have my husband watch with me. I weigh 142lbs, since juicing I have lost 7lbs in 5 days.
I have been telling everyone I know or meet all about the benefits of juicing. Every day I can keep up with my girls and that's most important, last night I brought m... Wed, 31 Jul 2013 10:39:36 EST Day 4 (so much energy) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5438301 Ok the first two days were rough I had trouble making meals for my family with all the wonderful smells in the kitchen. Then vacation came which was an amusement park and we all know how wonderful the smells are there from fried dough, candy apples, hot dogs, to popcorn, so yes it was a little hard. I now can say how happy I'm that I have not given up. I have so much more energy and it feels great sharing it with my daughters. I'm waking up early now and excited for my juice. I told myself I... Tue, 30 Jul 2013 09:00:06 EST Day 1 complete http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5436017 I forgot to add how much peeing I have done, I know too much info. Last night was really hard making my family dinner but I didn't give in to temptation. I stepped on the scale this morning and lost 3 lbs. My family and I are going away for a night so I made my juices ahead of time. I hear they only last 24 hours so I will just make it without them going bad. I will fill you in on Monday with updates. Feeling really energized :) Sun, 28 Jul 2013 09:25:12 EST Side effects http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5435482 Well day one is almost over. I have felt very hungry today, my body is used to ingesting all the garbage and is now only getting juice and water. I had the shakes but its all apart of it no one said it would be a breeze. I'm one step closer to the light at the end of the tunnel. Sat, 27 Jul 2013 18:23:47 EST I have gained 6 lbs http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5435457 I was pretty sad looking at my weight status from last login, when you hit rock bottom there is only one direction to go. I'm embracing this challenge ahead of me and am excited for the positive changes. Juicing!!!! Sat, 27 Jul 2013 17:52:33 EST 1st day of Juicing http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5435341 Some symptoms from the Juicing is a massive headache, drowsy, and I feel sort of off balance. They don't call it detoxing for nothing. I have had the taste of tomato in my mouth all morning (not my favorite). I have to say after every Juice I have had a burst of energy. I'll update you with any new side effects. Happy Juicing!!!!!!! Sat, 27 Jul 2013 15:00:08 EST I'm the proud owner of a new Cuisinart® Juice Extractor http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5435333 I came across this documentary on Netflix that truly inspired me and made me want to change my life around. After watching I realized it wasn't only about losing weight but also all the other benefits like less stress, healthier skin, more energy, the list goes on. The gentleman went on a fast for about 60 days only drinking fruits and veggies. I wont ruin it for those who haven't seen it. I advise you go check it out if you haven't heard about it "Fat, Sick and almost Dead". Sat, 27 Jul 2013 14:53:23 EST The scale is not your firend http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5212653 So I checked my weight this morning and I stayed the same weight. BUMMER!!! I need to realize that the scale isn't going to help or motivate you, and your real success is in the way your clothes fit and how you feel. I have a new goal to try to check my weight once a week. That will be a hard one. Fri, 18 Jan 2013 08:53:51 EST Getting back to personal training sessions http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5211982 It has been awhile since I saw a personal trainer, so today I had an appointment with my sister and I felt like I couldn't hang. Also I really don't like working out with a bunch of men (no offense) lifting weights 5 ft away. I feel very self conscious. I know I shouldn't mind and just embrace the workout, but baby steps I'm working on my self confidence as well. Tomorrow morning my sister and I will be seeing the trainer and I hope I can be more focused and less worried about everyone around... Thu, 17 Jan 2013 19:20:31 EST 2013 is my year http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5211754 About 3 months ago I decided to be brave and check my weight on one of those fancy scales in GNC, If you are not familar with the GNC it is a vitamin, supplement, and mineral store. When the ticket printed out I could feel the anxiety, I didn't even want to look. After a couple seconds I decided to get it over with, and it read 158. I was really upset that day and more disappointed in myself than anything. I think that was my wake up call. I'm back on track 100% eating healthier and working o... Thu, 17 Jan 2013 15:29:53 EST
