Mon, 8 Dec 2014 13:41:38 EST Progress So Far http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5827139 Happy December, everyone! I can't believe it is almost Christmas. Where did this year go???

I've been doing well on my challenge so far. I've been below calories every day, but right now I'm okay with that. I'm not hungry and I know that won't last long, so I'm just going to go with it for right now. Once I start exercising regularly I know I'll need more calories anyway.

I forgot to note on my last blog that my miles are going to be counted from my FitBit. I know ... Wed, 3 Dec 2014 19:19:13 EST Same story... different day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5823492 Ugh. I officially weigh more than ever. I only know this because of how my pants fit, as I won't go near the scale. But I have finally got a work schedule that's supposed to stick, so I should be able to make plans to get my weight back under control. I'm going to resort back to my tried and true monthly challenges. I get so discouraged when I aim for a goal weight and don't accomplish it, so I'm taking my weight out of the equation. I'm making this a VERY doable challenge for myself. ... Wed, 26 Nov 2014 19:34:48 EST 10 Min/Day Streak - Week 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5784828 Woohoo! I've managed to hit 7 days on my 10 minute walks streak! I just took a quick walk to get away from my desk at work to meet today's minimum.... but it was more in hopes that the walk would wake me up some.

These hours are taking a toll on me. I'm more than half way through this 12 day work "week" though. I can do this. I didn't sleep well last night and I'm in a lot of pain due to the knots in my back. I've had 2 massages scheduled, but both of them got cancelled so I'... Being that it's Friday it means I'm in 5 days of my 12 day work streak. UGH. 7 more days of being stuck in this HORRIBLE chair at work. BUT... I just completed my 10 minute walk to keep my 10 min/day streak going. Day 4... done!

I did my 10 minutes just now at work (actually, 12 because I'm an over-achiever 211 )... It is so funny... this community. No matter how many times we pick someone up, we are always happy to do it again. It is such a constant challenge to lose/maintain weight.

Thanks to my dear friend, IAMZBEE, I took my first steps towards making this maintainable. I took a walk. A short, 1 mile walk, with hubs and pup. I know that I am all or nothing, and I know that works better for me than anyt... Had a whole blog typed up and accidentally closed out of it. Here we go again:

I am not abandoning my goals, but I am revising them. This time of year is just too difficult for me to stay on track with my eating. I have 1-2 bad eating days and I am tempted to give up. So that I don't give up I am going to focus mostly on my fitness and less on my eating habits. I will still strive to get my water in (weekends are the hardest) and make better decisions on food most of th...
