I have more of a schedule at work, and that it easier to not overeat. Only problem is it's an office job, so it's not easy to get up and move around. But I'm trying! Sun, 5 Apr 2015 10:59:17 EST Yoga I went to two yoga classes this week. One Saturday, and one on Tuesday. They were the same, but different. Saturday's class was mostly poses. Tuesday's class was poses, but there was a lot of finding your center, and inhaling and exhaling. She had a candle lit, and said an inspirational passage at the end of the session while we were relaxing. She had lavender <BR> towels for our eyes. It was a very relaxing experience. Claudia and I did some shopping, then Claudia had a job interview at 5. She interviewed starts the job Monday. We went to Fell's Point for vegan ice cream. Did a lot od walking. I had a small mammogram scare, and I had other things on my mind. Everything is okay and I'm back. Went with my granddaughter yesterday and signed up for a gym. When you're young, you're putting your house together, buying things you "need". When you get older you come to realize, the only thing you really need is good health. If you have that, you can really do without all the material possessions. After awhile, it seems like the possessions own you. They take up room in your house, you have to clean them or move them from cabinet to cabinet, trying to find room for all that you have. Not to menti... Other than the 5 minutes walk to and from the parking lot at work, I haven't been walking much. Tomorrow I'm going to take breaks at work and go for a walk. Tried walking the mall, too many sales right now. Tomorrow I'm going to the high school to walk the track with my granddaughter. If that doesn't work, Plan B will be to walk around the block. We all enjoyed it. <BR> <BR> Sat, 5 Jan 2013 17:44:18 EST Day 6 I can't believe it's already Day 6. Things have been going great, as far as eating healthy. I need to work on adding exercise starting next week. I plan on starting out slow. Maybe walking on the track at the high school with my granddaughter. So far my granddaughters and I are working on vitamins, 8 cups of water, eating salads, and smaller portions. It's great having a buddy to discuss nutrition and take along for exercise. Even though she doesn't need to lose weight-she wants to change her eating habits and eat healthier. We're going to introduce healthier habits a few at a time, instead of trying to do everything at once.
