Having gone from a $900 a month food budget to being able to comfortably eat for less than $120 a month, I know this is pure hogwash. Eating healthy is cheap. As of today I am still at least 2 lbs up from where I was Friday March 23rd.
I've been exhausted. Running my business at full steam, not enough staff. Running a non-profit business association, not enough volunteers... Mon, 2 Apr 2012 17:25:34 EST I'm not a runner... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4814425 Which is why I'm so pleased that I was able to do something even resembling the 30 minutes of 30 second sprints today. Not perfect, but a good 12 minutes of 30-30 and then after a minute rest and couple minutes of just jogging, went back to at least do 30 second sprints with 40-45 seconds of rest.
I am amazed. Especially with my shin splint problem. I lost the post that explained that after 3 weeks of 5k My Way workouts, that I didnt think I was going to be able to continue. My shin ... Sun, 1 Apr 2012 02:24:45 EST Weekend Wins and Whoops http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4804908 Well, I am back from my weekend away.
I did manage to fit in my Week 8 days 50 and 51 before the weekend by skipping my day of rest.
I had hoped to hike on the trip, but only got my friends out to a few 10 minute walks or so.

My "Whoops" is that I probably consumed 6000 calories over the weekend. Friends are trained chefs and like to prepare meals all the way to the presentation.
I mean, they cooked rather healthy stuff- lots and lots of veggies, nothing like ch... Sun, 18 Mar 2012 17:54:02 EST Over-Under-Over-Under http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4792864 Its a rare day when I can get my nutritional tracker fully happy with me... I'm under on calories, I'm over on calories, I'm perfect on calories, but I'm under on carbs, or I'm over on protein, or I'm under on fat... constantly getting one of these to not quite sync.
I was really proud of myself today-- 3 days in a row that I've had 7 servings of fruit & vegetables. and my tracker has the gall to tell me I'm UNDER on carbohydrates.
Dang it.
see those fruits and veggies don't ...
