It starts the minute we walk out the door. I have to hold her close to me, until we've cleared the building....making sure there are no other neighbor doggies nearby. This is always tricky. There are several of us in the apt complex, all walking our dogs. When one dog sees another, there is pulling. Thank goodness, my girl knows what "SHH" means & that she doesn't always bark. I just finished it all off, yesterday. I do the patchwork by machine, making sure to zig zag all raw edges. We've had bad luck with gifts that did not have raw edges done like that & they started falling apart after the first washing. <em>39</em> The edges are sewn up by hand, but I am going to do a decorative chevron stitch along the edge, as well.
