I binge ate to help me deal with stress. I've been doing pretty well the last part of the week and my goal is to loose 1.5 lbs this week. Fri, 17 Apr 2009 07:36:36 EST 8 week bikini challenge http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1978263 In 8 weeks I am going to be walking on the beach in hawaii in my new bikini and I want to look as good in it as possible. I've gained a few pounds back from emotional eating during the stress of midterms, but I'm ready to take it back off, define my muscles and love the way I look. I'm going to measure and weigh in every friday from now until June 12th so my progress is actually posted somewhere. First weigh in tomorrow. Thu, 16 Apr 2009 11:53:48 EST February 20th http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1814854 I'm half way to my bodyfat goal. Using the same calculator I originally used, I'm now at 24% I'm doing really well with exercise, but having a little trouble in the eating department. I'm back at college now and eating all my meals in the dining hall. I'm under a lot of pressure and I'm fighting with stress eating. I feel pretty good about my body, getting some muscle definition, but I want to be putting better food in my body. Fri, 20 Feb 2009 10:41:04 EST new year, new goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1716321 Here are my goals for 2009, they're ambitious, but I think doable. I've included after them the rewards I plan to give myself. I haven't quite made it to my goal weight yet, but I'm very close (1lb!), so I'm including maintenance goals as well as non weight-related goals.

Exersise Goals:
Reach 22% body fat (current ~26%): new workout clothes
Run a charity 5k: road ID
Run a 5k in 26 min: TBA
Ride an MS bike ride at least 50 miles: new jersey
Sprint triath... Mon, 19 Jan 2009 12:48:26 EST Frustration http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1646684 I am so angry and frustrated right now. My parents came to visit for two weeks and I did really well on exercise all but the last four days, I started out eating well, but when we left my place and went traveling it was restaurants three meals a day and try as I might, I gained some weight. I don't really know how much, the scale says six pounds this morning, but I'm hoping some of it is water from the salty restaurant fare. I was so close, just one pound away when they arrived and now, in... Sat, 3 Jan 2009 02:40:34 EST Tossing out the scale http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1557804 I've decided not to weigh in any more. Weight is far less important to me than health and no matter what the number on the scale says, I won't change what I'm doing to get healthier. My calorie ranges for spark are already at the lowest recommended range (1200-1500), so even if I lost weight, they wouldn't go down and as long as I'm being honest about the exercise I'm doing, my calorie ranges should be appropriate. I've decided there are too many variables, even of one weighs in at the sam... Mon, 10 Nov 2008 03:15:18 EST Exausted http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1553434 Well, I made it to Fiday. I didn't get much sleep this week because of the elections, readings and a final paper, so I treated myself to a power nap this morning. It really helped. When we had our morning break in class, I was really craving something warm and I really didn't want coffee, so I got hot chocolate from the machine, and for the first time, it didn't even taste that good. I kept thinking, I wasted my treat on THIS? Next week, I will go back to Gromm and get their chocolate so... Fri, 7 Nov 2008 07:16:51 EST Finally found a gym http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1552003 I'm feeling good today! Really good. It's my third day with no refined sugars of any kind and I'm starting to feel the sugar pangs go away. Today was my second day at the gym I finally found and, while I still feel weak, I feel better than I did yesterday and got way more done than I thought I could. I'm going back tomorrow. I scheduled a fitness evaluation for when I get home. That way, there's someone to hold me accountable for my exersise. I know that someone will be evaluating me a...
