I know the scale is waiting to jump to 200 and 199 this week. ONEderland. It's truly happening. I want it to happen. And I did this starting on February 28 - last minute decision when I realized the next day was Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. This Lenten fast was really begun on a whim with quiet, calm decision and no expectations. I have been crossing over on a monkey bar challenge - hand to hand - meal by meal - hour to hour - day to da... Sun, 26 Mar 2017 12:02:07 EST Day 25 - Lenten Fast- emotions can undermine plans & energy levels I was UP all night until around 5 AM. My daughter texted me at 3:38 AM to explain she cannot go on our lecture and then our private hike through the state preserve to take pictures because she received a middle of the night text to work on software today for a job. The person she refers to is a 'former college student friend" who works from his house in a town next door to mine. She may be collaborating with him on something. Her text was vague. She said she couldn't go and that is it. <... The moment I awake, I turn coffee pot on over the stove, use bathroom, and remove heavy bedclothes, and weigh myself, faithfully. Knowing the night before I'll be on the scale, PREVENTS ME FROM LATE NIGHT HEALTHY SNACKS.
... Small Meals Vs. Intermittent Fasting ~~ Written by Michael Smith

For years now, we’ve been told the best way to lose weight was by eating multiple, small meals a day; usually between 5-6 small meals consisting of between 250-400 calories. The thinking went that the steady supply of calories introduced into the system would assist in maintaining a steady metabolism, blood sugar and assist in weight loss. This has been accepted as conventional wisdom for health-types for a while. <BR...
