That was such victory and yet had so far to go - but in 6 months I would walk a 5K with two canes and then return to bed for two months last Dec for strange auto-immune/infection in lower legs and arms and had to regain the strength all over again - Neuropathy gets worse each month but I still fight for mobility an... Finally back to the best I have been on the bike in a year and a half!!! <BR> 30 minutes, 4 miles, burned 200 calories and kept pulse under 120. The 4 criteria I used in the past. Sun, 11 Jun 2017 21:33:21 EST Waiting to use gifts and gadgets We have a family joke that I always wait a year after I receive a gift before I will use it ...silly but has been truth in the past but I am working to break that and use things when given. <BR> Example - the food processor - sat in the cupboard for 6 months before I finally got it out and used it all by myself!!! Daughter had done a few things with it but I was afraid of the thing. Finally used it to make the pie crust like wafer breads for communion a few months ago - still not totally comf... I was alone, 3.5 hours from home at a specialist's office...I went to the car, cried, and then prayed "OK LORD, you will use me whatever state of health I have - show me the way to deal with this and get me home safely in your will and in your time." <BR> The next day I called for second opinions, got ...
