Someone at work today told me that I my clothes looked too big on me and I felt elated! Why do weightloss compliments make use feel so good? Why can't we feel great about ourselves even when we are a size 14? I yearn for the day that I can be truly comfortable with in my skin with out needed someone to tell me how great I look. Thu, 4 Oct 2012 20:08:32 EST Pre-pregnancy jeans It took me one and a half years to finally fit into my jeans again!! I had lost my pregnancy weight pretty quickly but my abdomen area was just not the same after having my baby. Even though that scale had shown me as weighing less then what I had weighed prior I just could not fit into my jeans. Thanks to Spark, 30 day Shred and a health diet. I was able to slip easily into them this weekend! Yay!!! <img src=""> Tue, 4 Sep 2012 13:55:01 EST I have to imagine This getting in shape thing has it's ups and downs for sure. Forget the quick fixes or latest workout gadgets or classes. Now that I have a child I know that keeping myself healthy will add quality to her life and that has been my motivation. I close my eyes and try to imagine her my age with a baby. I then imagine how I will be physically @ 75. Will I be in a walker or will I be able to walk my grandchild to the park? Thanks to Sparkpeople's babyfit website I was able to only gain an additional 25lbs during my pregnancy and have already lost the 25lbs even though it has only been almost 6 weeks since giving birth to my beautiful baby girl! <BR> My doctor took all physical restrictions off of my yesterday giving me the ok to exercise again! I've been working out consistently since Jan 3rd and I have lost a total of only about 10lbs. Not sure if I should talk to my doctor regarding my lack of weight loss. I was too excited to wait for the end of the challange to find out what my results were! I did so well at boot camp last week & then caught a cold that has kept me from work & working out 4 the past 2 days! I am so mad! This seems to always happen! They actually had a place at Sea World that offered chicken, fresh strawberries, watermelon and salad! I was shocked.
